My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. Very close to the beach and to the downtown area. The house is clean and has a nice layout with great views of the ocean and the Twin Rocks Arch. One thing to note is that it is right off of the train tracks and the train comes by a couple times during the day. For how close it is the house stayed fairly quiet and my son enjoyed waving to all the passengers out the front door. I would definitely stay here again!

The house is a bit quirky in layout. I didn’t realize there was only one shower for 6 guests. The house was clean and well stocked. The back deck view is lovely and the walk to the beach is easy and short. (The path is well maintained). The train to Girabaldi does rattle the house but it only comes by a few times during the day (and not at night).

Needs met- fantastic weekend

The cabin matches the description well. It’s not posh, but it is nice and comfortable. The views are lovely, and the backyard and river on the beach were great for the kids to explore safely.

Perfect Oregon coast headquarters

Our family of four had a great week stay at this house. We could not beat the access to pristine miles of beach. We walked the beach multiple times per day. Being on Highway 101 allowed us to drive North to Cannon Beach and South to Newport so easily. Incredibly beautiful area a

Great location

This home was as advertised. Very much an old cabin feel. It had everything we needed. The location in proximity to the beach is great. The railroad tracks are right next door but the noise is infrequent and you don’t really hear it in the house.

Cute, centrally located house. Easy enough to walk to most things. Was concerned once I saw RR tracks on Street View. Thankful it was not an issue. House served it's purpose for a last minute overnighter.

Girls trip

We are 6 girls, grandma, 3 daughters, 2 granddaughters. This home worked very well for our needs. Close to the beach and nice kitchen. There were pots and pans, some in sorry shape but serviceable. The only supplies were salt and pepper and 2 or 3 other spices.

Great location, great views and easy to find

The entire stay went pretty well but I have a couple of negatives to add. We eat at home a lot and the pots and pans were not so great. When boiling water one of the pans was bouncing on the stove when trying to boil water. One more thing to add is the location does not have a BBQ. I would recommend that pots and pans get an upgrade as long as the silverware and utensils. Adding a BBQ would be a plus as well. The house was clean and beds were comfy. Thank you.

Lovely house- great view, not accessible

This house was super cute and only 35 steps to the beach. A great view! A few things of note… if you are obese, the space around the beds is very tight and would be impossible to get around if one was large. The shower is also very tight and awkward to get out of. EMERGENCY KIT NEEDED. I was alone my last night, just plugged my phone in to charge and power goes out. There is NO flashlights, no candles, no instructions on what to do if power goes out. I was in the dark from 6pm to 2am. And no wifi because of the router,. Every rental should have this Kitchen was good, but pans are horrific. They need replaced and are not worth using. Otherwise it was a GREAT house and I will stay here again. The management was great when I called because we dropped the key in the ocean and got us a backup right away. They were also very responsive when I finally called about the power.

The house is a nice place to stay, direct beach access, beautiful view, centrally located and accessible. Location is very walkable to stores and a new coffee shop just opened up across the street. However, if you are unsteady on your feet/unbalanced and/or don't have good knees the two deep "steps" down to the beach from the property are hazardous. The pictures showing a pristine deck are inaccurate. Deck stairs were taped off as they are rotted/falling apart. This is something that should have been communicated to us beforehand, so it was a huge disappointment when we got there and found this out. The tub did not drain properly either but once reported it was fixed within 24 hours, so good maintenance response. There are no scissors, lol, but plenty of kitchen utensils. The stove and refrigerator are obviously updated and the kitchen was nice to use. There were no basic spices, like salt and pepper so they had to be purchased and were left for the next people. Cooler ice packs provided as well as dish/dishwasher soap and laundry pods, new roll of paper towels, and fresh cloth towel (but only one) and hot pad holders. The beds were comfortable, with the 1st floor back bedroom off of the bathroom having the best topper. Heater fans provided in each bedroom. and comfortable bed clothes. Absolutely love the heated bathroom floor. The living room is comfortable. The fireplace is not a functioning fireplace but a heater. With adjustments, I would stay there again.

We enjoyed the coziness of the home and that we could see the oven from the couches! The trail to the beach was nice and so close! Very clean place just needed a dishcloth and some dawn soap we will plan another stay for sure !
