The Sweetgum Cottage is a small home that has been completely renovated. It features a wrap around deck and a large sitting and deck area underneath that is perfect for an evening of relaxation after enjoying the area attractions. The cottage has a fully furnished kitchen, one bedroom with a queen bed, a sofa bed, bathroom, central heat and air, washer and dryer, free WiFi and ample parking area for your vehicles. Access to the Cottage is via a ram or steps. It is conveniently located to the town of Robbinsville, a short drive from Lake Santeetlah and Lake Fontana, the Tail of the Dragon, Cherohala Skyway and great hiking trails and trout streams. Sweetgum Cottage is located on property owned by the Davis family for several generations. We (Rick and Sara) are retired NC Public School employees after 30+ years with Graham County Schools. We have remodeled the Cottage and are now making it available as a short term rental property. We are active in our community and church and enjoy spending time with family and our four grandchildren. The cottage was absulotely perfect and had everything we needed. It was close to everything and far enough from the road itself that the traffic did not bother us.
