"Beautiful home with incredible views (genuinely, so pretty)…but the real draw is how pet friendly it is. Gates on stairs and the porches made me feel so much more comfortable managing getting our (very nervous and very fast) dogs in and out without worrying about someone getting loose. There’s even a dog wash station! Well stocked for anything else you could need. The porches/views alone sell this place but above and beyond, the home is clean and comfortable and exactly as described in the listing. Plus the EV charger made this the perfect place for us.The only (very minor) “complaints” we would have are that the parking is…precise and minimal. Bring as few vehicles as possible. And the bathroom in the master bedroom (gorgeous and the bed is so comfy…nice medium firmness) is a bit awkward. It’s not closed off from the room, really (it’s private enough, but it is open) so it would make sharing the one main floor a little awk if you’re not close to your travel companions. But not a huge enough thing to override everything else wonderful about this place!!"

"This was one of the most beautiful places we have stayed.Everything we needed was here. The view is gorgeous, the pool was great, and the bed was so comfy!! I feel like I slept amazing the whole week. 100% we will stay again."

"Planned a short getaway to hike Mount Mitchell and this place could not have been more perfectly located to the trailhead. The Lodge is newly built, and ground are impeccably well maintained. The staff was super helpful. They even came by to drop off a lighter so the firepit could be put to use. They have a common use area with a ktichen and grills that can be utilized which is an added bonus as I don’t recall reading about all they had available to make the stay above and beyond expectations. The sunset view of the Blue Ridge mnts was icing on the cake. Highly recommended!!’"

"With a view from Heaven this home gives you a chance to escape the grind of everyday life. The home is not only very private and well stocked with the items you need to make delicious dinners but close enough to town to eat out. The surrounding area is pure country with neighbors far enough away for privacy yet close enough to say high when you're out for a walk. Would highly recommend!!"
3 level cabin on Mt Mitchell golf course

"Everyone in our party thought this was the best place we had stayed at in the Burnsville area. We had 3 families staying and each had their own level in the house with each family having their own bathroom. Also being able to have all 10 of us sitting around the same table at dinner was a real plus. We will definitely put this place on our future vacation itineraries."
