Find hotels in Roana from £65

The best area to stay in Roana is Roana Centro, the main village centre, or perhaps a hotel offering views of Lake Caldonazzo if you prefer a lakeside setting.

Roana Centro is the heart of the municipality, offering convenient access to local shops, eateries, and cultural sites. It's a compact and walkable area, with the main square, Piazza Santa Giustina, serving as a focal point. You'll find the local church and a few traditional restaurants here, providing a genuine taste of the region.

Families often find Roana Centro a good base. The village is set amidst the Asiago Plateau, which offers plenty of outdoor activities suitable for all ages, such as easy walking trails and cycling routes. The central location means you're never far from essential amenities or a pleasant stroll.

For couples seeking a romantic escape, a hotel with views overlooking Lake Caldonazzo offers a serene and picturesque experience. While not directly in Roana Centro, these accommodations typically provide shuttle services or are a short drive away, balancing tranquillity with accessibility to the village's amenities.

The best time to visit Roana is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is warm and pleasant, and the area truly comes alive.

During this period, Roana offers a fantastic range of outdoor activities. Hiking and cycling are particularly popular, with well-maintained trails winding through the surrounding forests and hills. The climate is ideal for exploring the local villages, enjoying al fresco dining, and taking part in local festivals. Families will find this time especially appealing, as the warmer weather allows for full enjoyment of the many open-air attractions and family-friendly activities available.

For those who prefer a quieter experience with cooler temperatures and a focus on cultural exploration, late spring (April to May) or early autumn (October) can also be wonderful. The landscape transforms with vibrant colours, and walking trails are less crowded.
