Top River Windrush Hotel Reviews
The Lamb Inn
10/10 Excellent
"This was the perfect place to stay for the night we were visiting the Cotswolds! Breakfast was great too."
The Lamb Inn Great Rissington
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful old pub, well maintained. The room was light and airy, the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom spotless. The standout thing for us was the friendliness and efficient of the staff, from first greeting to ordering food, to checking out. The roast dinners, both meat and vegetarian were excellent We felt very relaxed here and we would definitely come back! Many thanks!"
The Feathered Nest Country Inn
10/10 Excellent
"Fabulous place to stay in the Cotswolds- friendly staff and an outstanding breakfast!"
Inn For All Seasons
10/10 Excellent
"This is our second time this year and plan on coming back later in the year, excellent staff comfy rooms, and the breakfast is excellent."
The Lamb Inn
8/10 Good
"Nice room, glad a fan was provided it was hot. Coffee pod machine free water and shortbread nice touch. Comfortable bed, great breakfast included. Only let down was the shower didn’t work, no hot water and a dribble out cold water, had to have a bath in the end."
Old Swan & Minster Mill Hotel
8/10 Good
"The room was clean, the bedside light kept blowing but they worked hard to rectify it every time. I did get bitten a lot which has never happened to me before but the cause was a mystery because my husband did not get bitten at all. The roman blinds in the room let it down as did the net curtains which were hung the wrong way on the windows so the strings were an eyesore. The coffee and tea making facilities were excellent. The bathroom needed more shelving. The location was amazing and an excellent place to use as a base for sight seeing further afield. We spent 3 nights and 2 days there and could have stayed longer. They employ some amazing staff. Enormous credit to them ."
Priory Tearooms Burford With Rooms
10/10 Excellent
"We had clear instructions on how to access our room with a welcome letter on arrival Our little compact room was a delight. Staff from the tea rooms greeted us with open arms pretty much and we sampled a beautiful fruit scone (or 2 lol) The destination set in the midst of the beautiful high street filled with shops, hotels/restaurants and boutiques galore. Co op just over the road for any last minute snacks. A beautiful bookshop and stunning scenery alongside this beautiful town. A set of mini lodge rooms in a small courtyard area behind the priory tearooms. What a lovely surprise. The room came equipt with towels, iron/board, kettle with usual tea/coffee/sugar/UHT pods. A wardrobe for putting luggage in and a convenient fan for the more hotter days. Outside was a tranquil seating area to relax or read a book. Everything you need really to rest your heads for the evening and even an afternoon snooze if needed. To be honest we were really impressed with what they achieved with the space and have looked for future dates to return. Would highly recommend We stayed here in view of visiting “Clarksons” Farmers Dog as we had landed a table to dine in. Burford is beautiful and so was the Priory Tearooms See you again"
The Wychwood Inn

"The room was lovely and the staff was very helpful."
