Check-in was quick and easy, and room was bigger than expected, clean, comfortable, with plenty of room to store / lock things; a side-door to an outside terrace with a table and chairs, and a great shower with plenty of pressure and warm water. Bed was cozy, and smart TV was new and viewing choices were abundant in several languages. The restaurant was usually busy, but they always found a table quickly for me (would recommend making reservations though). Service from the restaurant staff was excellent - friendly, attentive, quick, and helpful. Elvira was so helpful and friendly - as was most of the staff. I had dinner there all three nights, and was never disappointed. The soups, appetizers - and, in particular, the pizzas, were delicious - which was perfect after a day of exhausting skiing. Lastly, the location of the Matterhorn Inn couldn't be better. They are located less than 1 minute (right across the street) from the Täsch rail station. Will definitely return!

A walking distance from the station as we wanted to visit Zermatt and take the Glacier Express. The hotel was very convenient, clean and the room was spacious for two people. We loved the balcony and the view! We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends. Staff was courteous (as we only speak Spanish/English) and make the exception for an early check-in. Thank you! 🙏

We had a great stay here. Very walkable small town with easy transportation into Zermatt (shuttle train departs every 20 mins or so). Room was very clean. Staff was kind enough to hold our luggage on check out day so we could go into Zermatt comfortably.

Nice stay
Room is quite small but we have a big veranda. USB charger would be better if it is next to bed than under the TV. Very convenient as train to Zermatt is just across the road, Coop and Migros grocery stores right next to it, beautiful surroundings, free car park. I support eco friendly stuff but I think they do need to give enough coffees, teas and milk for the stay, and also top up tissues and toilet roll for the stay. We don’t ask for any room cleaning service but we have to ask for the supplies. They are not the only hotel we have to ask for supplies, many of the hotels we stayed in this trip have to do the same. It’s inconvenience as we either have to go to the counter or catch the cleaners as there’s no room phones, some hotel do but not connected!! Overall it’s a good stay.

The staff was rude and the frint desk was rarely attended by a employee of the hotel. For these prices we received very little. Totally not worth the money and could not in good conscience recommend this property to anyone.

Location of hotel across from train shuttle to Zermatt is super convenient. Easy to park car, check in and go to Zermatt without luggage. Good breakfast also. Very clean hotel with updated plugs, perhaps newly renovated? HIghly recommend this hotel.

Great Place to Stay for Day Trips to Zermatt
This hotel is located one train stop from Zermatt and it is less than a ten-minute ride. The hotel is literally across the street from the train station. There is a restaurant on the first floor and a spa downstairs. The staff was very friendly and helpful in providing tourist information. The room was very clean and comfortable. The scenery around the hotel is beautiful and very peaceful. I would definitely stay here again.

The inn is well maintained and reasonably priced. This is an attractive place to stay as it beats the expensive hotels at Zermatt; and is right across from the train station (there are frequent trains to Zermatt and takes only 10-15 mins). The inn is attached to a restaurant, which seems to be the primary business; so you need to approach the bar there if the lobby is empty. Rooms were small and clean; which sufficed for our overnight stay. The staff were kind enough to store our luggage before and after check-in while we explored the local attractions. Would definitely recommend as a good, budget-friendly option in the area.

It is just opposite Täsch railway station. Hotel room is nice, big and toilet amenities are provided as such towels. Water for shower is strong as well. Strongly recommend.

High quality hotel
Lovely hotel just over the road from the station, with regular trains to Zermatt we stayed before taking the Glacier Express the next day. It was very clean and comfortable with very good quality bathroom. Also had small balcony. Enjoyed the spa, which we got to ourselves . Would definitely stay again.

Hotel Matterhorn inn is right by the train station. Nice big room with view. The restaurant food was great but little expensive. It had a small balcony, but no conditioner or body soap. Enough towel. We were in 4th floor right by the elevator. Breakfast not included. They usually have one pillow. Ask for another if you need. Hotel tax is extra you have to pay at the reception. Very good Wi-Fi. Reception not friendly.

Excellent access to Zermatt; immediately opposite the station. Modern and smart facilities. Good breakfast, evening meal average but filling. Private parking. Quiet town, very much a more affordable satellite for Zermatt. No regrets.
