It sits on the charming stretch of coast between Riposto and Acireale, in a residential area on the edge of the small and quiet fishing village of Torre Archirafi. The apartment is on the first floor and is approached via its external staircase, allowing independent access from the rest of the villa which is occupied by the owner. It features bright, spacious and comfortable rooms tastefully appointed with functional furnishings. Outside the apartment, the two terraces overlooking the lush garden are ideal for alfresco dining or for whiling away the hours reading a book. Especially the partly reed-covered terrace offers a beautiful view of the sea and of its pebbly beach, which is easily reached on foot. Whereas the nearest sandy beach is in the close resort of Riposto. Torre Archirafi is also an excellent base for enjoying delicious wine and gastronomy tours and exploring the stunning nature, historical and artistic attractions of this area. La terrasse et la vue mer sont magnifique. La terrasse avec vue sur l'Etna est elle aussi très agréable pour regarder le coucher de soleil sur le volcan. L'accès direct à la mer est vraiment appréciable pour se baigner avant ou après les visites notamment. La maison est très bien équipée et correspond bien à l'annonce. Nous y avons séjourné en août, elle reste fraîche et la brise de la mer ou de l'Etna la rafraîchit le soir. Nous n'avons même pas eu besoin de la climatisation. Les propriétaires sont vraiment très sympathiques et accueillants tout en étant très discrets. Ils nous ont donné de très bonnes adresses et de précieux conseils. En résumé, nous recommandons chaudement cette location, très pratique pour visiter Taormina, l'Etna, Catane, Syracuse... Nous avons pu profiter à la fois de la mer et des visites. Nous y reviendrons.
