It is a few blocks away from the beach. Breakfast breads are the only menu that varies. The rest are constatnt. It is quite challenging to use the elevator. One unit is often not working so it is always full. Good thing we were booke only at the 2nd floor so we can opt to use the stairs. Otherwise, you will lose quite a time waiting for the elevator. Swimming pool was smallet than expected. Though it has a great view. Used to checking in to hotels with complementary water. I was surprised it isn't and Idon't think there was a sign that it wasn't. Also quite a business for them to charge fee for keeping your luggage while waiting for your afternoon flight after the 12nn check out. Breakfast option was limited but absolutely delicious. Room was as expected, only thing is that bathroom door was kinda rotten from one corner due to humidity. Outlets worked, AC as well, soundproof windows were a plus considering a firefighter station was nearby. Hot and cold water was available, toiletries and a hair dryer were as expected. Negative points: Very SLOW elevators Rooms are very, very basic and with poor maintenance. Walls need a good paint job. They need to buy new sheets and towels as they look overused, worn and dirty. They also need improve the lighting in the bathroom mirror and install a shelf in the shower for toiletries Internet is bad. TV has no international channels except for CNN and very poor reception. . Hot water takes forever to arrive.small and poorly maintained rooftop pool Poor customer service, unfriendly reception staff. The main problem was the lifts (it broke 2 times during the 4 days we were there) plus there arent anought for this 15+ story building (only 2 small elevators). Cleanliness of the room also left a lot to be desired: the mirror in the bathroom was really dirty when we got the room, plus the bathroom had tons of hair on the floor (I don't think the floors had been cleaned before we took the room). But I. The end, we spent very little time at the hotel because beautiful Rio has a lot to offer. Mold in the bathrooms, the matresses really old, noise from the outside AC even when windows closed. Thin walls, we could hear everything from our neighbours. The toiled got clogged up and it took more than 2 hours until someone showed up to fix it. The shower only had cold water, whixh could be fixed only on the 2nd day. Definitely not recommendable and defintely i will never book it again. Logo na chegada, o atendente foi grosseiro, mesmo eu tendo avisado previamente sobre a chegada tardia. Durante toda a hospedagem, o quarto não foi limpo nenhuma vez. A água do chuveiro não esquentava adequadamente (em plena temperatura de 17°C). O café da manhã era extremamente precário, tanto que, no último dia, sequer havia xícaras disponíveis. A equipe foi constantemente mal-educada e sem qualquer cordialidade. Presenciei, inclusive, um grupo de turistas chilenos sendo roubado dentro do hotel. A administração não prestou qualquer auxílio, falou apenas em português mesmo sabendo que eles não entendiam, demonstrando total falta de empatia. Banheiro entupido. Esqueci um casaco no hotel e ao retornar para busca-lo, disseram que não o encontraram.
