"Hotel Bristol was conveniently located a short walk from the Bahnhofstrasse and Old Town. The weather was exceptionally hot this summer and the Swiss government places limits on how much air conditioning can lower temperatures in hotel rooms. For this reason, suggest requesting a room on the lower floors of the hotel in the warmer months."

"While we only stayed overnight in Zurich, the hotel Ruby was an excellent choice. The location is steps from the train station and close to all must see downtown walking tour locations. Check-in was so easy and staff in reception were very friendly and accommodating. The room and on-site amenities were nicely appointed, high tech and eco friendly. It's cool having a Marshall amp in your room in you want to have a quick shed! Thank you for making our stay in Zurich a pleasant one. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel Ruby to anyone!"

"It's just a 3-minute walk from the main train station, with a large supermarket, coffee shops, and the old town all close by. Getting to the airport by public transport is easy too. The room is very basic but perfectly clean. It could use some modernisation, but nothing that affects a short stay. There's a small lift, which is handy with luggage. Reception is only open 8am to 8pm, so keep your room key with you. The TV has decent English-language channels with all the major news stations."

"I loved everything about this luxury hotel. I wanted to rate everything excellent but I could not get my phone to move over to that part of the field. I loved the candy butler; the small face clothes; the amenities on the refrigerator that is complimentary( being shown to the room; the food on the restaurant was superb( a cafe right next door; a door man; easy to navigate the hallways to the breakfast room and find the elevators; accommodated by making sure the room was nice and cozy. EVERYONE THERE IS SWEET AND AWESOME. This is my favorite hotel so far. Breakfast is included in the room price. Had a nice quiet sleep. Near the train station"

The only downside is that the room layouts can vary, and in our room the toilet and shower/sink were separate. If you stay here, I’d also really recommend trying the Thai restaurant opposite — it was great!"
