"We loved staying at the Luke Lure Inn. It's nothing fancy but sitting by the pool was very nice, even though the lake beach was closed. Be aware that each room has their own window AC unit- the property DOES NOT have central AC. We were okay with that but just wished they had had ceiling fans! Overall the property is a great value for the price."

"As many other reviews have stated, the Shaded Crest is a real gem of a place with wonderful hosts. The cabin was perfect for our stay both inside and out with the other facilities including the pool and spa which were welcome in very hot weather. Everything was spotless and the hosts were not just very welcoming helpful but passed on some great advice for our onward travel. The only downside is that we only had one night there!"

"We visit Chimney Rock/Lake Lure several weeks a year. Sadly, the place we used to stay at was destroyed by Hurricane Helene. We have finally found a wonderful place in Branching Out. After a recent 10 day visit we hated to leave. The distance to Chimney Rock Village and their delicious restaurants was minutes by vehicle. We had a view of the mountains behind the home. The place was located in a wooded area. Nice and shady with a screened in porch. Immaculate. The kitchen was fully furnished. We felt like we had been invited to stay at someone's home while they were away. Very quiet neighborhood. We slept the best that we have in a long while. Grandma can sleep in the first floor bedroom with a walk in shower. Bedrooms, bathrooms and outdoor access to views are to be had on all 3 floors. The place is very family oriented. We had one question and the host answered the phone immediately. We hope other families will enjoy a visit to Branching Out as much as we did."

"This was our fourth visit to the Enchanted Cottage at Lake Lure and as always we had a wonderful time. Breathtaking views of a beautiful mountain lake that has made a tremendous comeback after Hurricane Helene. The house is very comfortable and the owner Bruce is instantly available for any needs or questions. We love to take our friends and family and experience their first impressions of such a perfect vacation getaway. We’ll be planning another visit soon!"
