"We stayed in Garden Studio A and could not have been happier. It's a lovey, large room, well-appointed and with very comfortable beds. It's obvious the owners have put a lot of thought and effort into the rooms and the entire property, and they are great to chat with. We absolutely loved being able to step outside in the evenings and relax around the attractive gas fire. The little kitchen area and fridge gave us just enough space for evening snacks and drinks, and the grocery store was right down the road. It was very convenient to Lake Lure, and it was only about 25 scenic minutes to Tryon International Equestrian Center. We will absolutely stay here again! It really added a great deal to our trip."

"The staff was very nice! The location is perfect for Lake Lure - it’s perfect for being by Lake Lure Beach. The parking is easy. It is an older historic hotel - tiny showers, thin walls, and it is looking a little weathered."

"We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin in Lake Lure. The setting was peaceful and scenic, with beautiful views that made it easy to relax and unwind. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We especially enjoyed the quiet mornings and evenings on the porch. Overall, it was the perfect getaway, and we would absolutely stay here again."

"We had originally booked this cabin for October 2024, but as many may know Helene swept through in late September. We had to cancel our reservation due to the damage to the town. We had hear great things about the recovery of Lake Lure and when we went to book a cabin, this cabin was available for our dates! Let me tell you it was worth the wait. The cabin itself was incredibly cosy, and in an amazing location. We were 5 minutes from Grey Hawk, an amazing local restaurant and coffee shop that we visited multiple times. It took us less than 15 minutes to get from the cabin to Rumbling Bald for some hiking and climbing! It never felt inconvenient to do anything in and around town due to the location. The jacuzzi was outstanding as well, and much needed after a couple long days of physical activity. The master bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby both night- which is rare for me. All in all, this was worth the wait and I’m so glad we got a second chance to experience Mary Ann’s Cabin! "
