"An amazing place — maybe even the best we’ve tried so far! This beautifully cozy accommodation has been recently renovated, with an excellent level of cleanliness and a charming, welcoming atmosphere that carries a nostalgic, countryside feel. It truly created wonderful memories for us.
The check-in process was very smooth and pleasant. Even though we arrived early in the morning around 10 AM just to look around, they warmly welcomed us, checked us in, and handed over our room right away. Cleanliness and hygiene were absolutely perfect — we would give it a full 10 out of 10. The pool was spotless, the public areas were sparkling clean, and the room, beds, bathroom, and shower were all in excellent condition.
Both the reception and hotel management, as well as the housekeeping and service staff, were genuinely wonderful and friendly.
Location-wise, it’s only a 2-minute drive to the entrance of Chimney Rock State Park, and about 10 minutes from a large Super Center store and activities like zip-lining and horseback riding.
We highly recommend this place, and if we return to the area, it will definitely be at the top of our list again!"

"This lodge is so comfortable, clean and renovated. The owners have provided everything that other hotels do not such as wine glasses and corkscrew, full length mirror and magnified mirror, overhead shower that’s also a jet spray, small refrigerator, and access to kitchen with homemade cookies, tea, coffee and candy. The grounds are charming with lots of spices for just relaxing. Our bed was very comfortable and room renovated and very clean. "
"Great family trip! Riverside was a cute and comfortable little inn. The staff was great and we loved our room. We had a balcony which had a great view of the river. So peaceful. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I’m heartbroken for this community. So sad this little gem is gone. When they get up and running again we will definitely be back. One of my favorite towns in NC. "
