The free summer music series in Ouray's Fellin Park every Thursday evening in June and Hartwell Park in Ridgway every Thursday evening in July are not to be missed! Besides my husband and I there were 3 other couples with us on our vacation. We came up to jeep the trails in the area and this place did not disappoint. The description and pictures do not do this place justice. Our group has been vacationing for years together and usually stay in homes and this place was gorgeous! We have all decided this was the best place we've ever stayed in. The only problem we had was my husband started having knee trouble just before we came and the steps were a challenge as well as the was no walk-in shower. It was my second time staying there, first time was with my family and loved it so much that I got some friends together for a weekend. Everyone loved the place and in fact one of the girls may book for her family vacation at some point. We wanted to mention that we did grill one evening and don't think the grill had been thoroughly cleaned for awhile because it smoked up pretty bad. After we finished grilling we took it apart and cleaned it very well, and it probably would be a good idea to have that done on occasion so they don't experience the flames and smoke that we did. We wanted to make sure the grill was cleaned well since a bear was seen in the neighborhood the previous day. We thought my Dad was going to be able to come but he wasn’t able to this time. So ultimately this property was really more than we needed, but it was just as described and very nice. Reviewer Comments: Wonderful house with a gorgeous mountain view. Clean, easy check-in, and not far from Ouray. Have to trailer to OHV trails, but that is not a problem. Driveway a bit tricky for trailers, but do-able. Would definitely stay here again. ##### David E.
