"This cabin is a pure jem! We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed the view of the canal. Seal visited us from time to time and we swam every day in the refreshing waters. Very piecefull!"

"Stayed at this cabin with my wife and 5 year old daughter for our summer vacation. This was our second trip to Lake Nahwatzel and some how was even better than the first! The cabin is perfect! I said it perfect! From the moment I reached out to the property manager ( Kim) to the very last minute at the house as my daughter sat on the stairs crying " daddy I dont wanna leave!" Kim was great, very promt, informative and kind. I really appreciated that. So thank you Kim! the cabin is just that a cabin, until you arrive and realize its really just a slice of heaven that the owners are kind enough to share. It had everything you needed for a week. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, grill, outside seating you name it. it does not have a dishwasher, washer or dryer and the water is not drinkable.... If those things are a deal breaker then maybe this is not for you. But for my family it was everything we wanted and more. The lake if you have not been, is beautiful, maybe the best in the state. Clean, warm and just beautiful. My daughter swam, played and fished until she passed out! Only to do it again the next day. Do your self and your family a favor and book now, its worth every penny. We are already planning a trip back next year. Sincerely: The Apperson Family. "

"The place was simply magical! Make sure to grab any supplies you might need from the store before getting to the location because it’s a 1hr round trip to the closest store. We will be returning in the future! Only tricky part is the driveway. I chose to back into the driveway because pulling out the view is obstructed and could be an accident situation since traffic moves a little faster than the speed limit. Other than that, our host Susan was so warm and inviting and quick to answer any questions. The neighborhood is friendly and always waving. Great place!"
