"What stood out to us as unique is the historic building. Everything inside was like going back to 1912. We had a room where we shared a bathroom but for us, it was part of the experience. The place is kept clean, stocked with amenities, and the hosts where friendly, informative, and helpful in telling us about the history of the hotel and things to do around town. We had a very relaxing two nights."

"It was clean maintained but reception smelled like cigarettes a lot . Also hallways and stair need a little more maintenance. Hotel was good for one night stay. What I love about this hotel was the record player and the records that they have very classy."

"My husband and I had a great time celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary with our dog Addy. We rented the cabin for the wonderful waterfront wildlife views and the cozy retro feel, just as expressed by other guests and Susan our host. One of the best highlights of our summer. Thank you!"

"My kids and I stayed in Cabin 3 a few nights ago, and we had a great stay. It may not be the fanciest place, but it had everything we needed. Having several beds, a kitchen, and being just a short walk across the street from the water made it a wonderful spot for our family. We especially enjoyed the deck and hot tub, and it was a bonus to be within walking distance of Alderbrook, where we had a delicious lunch. One thing to be aware of is the early check-in policy. If you're planning to arrive before the scheduled check-in time, there is a $20-per-hour fee for each hour of early arrival. As long as you plan accordingly, it's a comfortable and convenient place to stay."

Adorable A-Frame Cabin, Steps to Lake Cushman!

"We had a lovely stay at the A-frame cabin in Hoodsport. The cabin was small, as advertised, and would be a perfect spot for a couple or single traveler. The cabin has all the modern amenities and a full set of cookware and utensils. We thoroughly enjoyed outdoor seating area with the propane firepit. Also, there were 2 paddleboards in the shed, this was awesome. The lake is right down the street and there is a dock that is perfect for swimming and taking off on the paddleboards.Now, to be clear, the cabin is quite small, there is not much seating (more than 2 guests and someone is going to be feeling a little cramped). There are some steep stairs leading to the upstairs bedroom, which is also small and has low ceilings. The bathroom was quite large for a tiny home, and although there was no bathtub, standup shower only. The washer and dryer in the bathroom was very convenient."

"After a long day of hiking, we were so happy to come upon our nights stay. The shower was great! The downstairs where the kitchen and living room is located did not disappoint. We enjoyed having lawn chairs to sit on and watch all of the activity on the water with a glass of wine. We did not cook but the kitchen was fully stocked which is appreciated. Thanks for the stay!"
Waterfront, dog-friendly home with amazing scenery, private beach & decks

"We had an excellent time at this home. The Property was just as advertised, easy to find, and very clean. The views were phenomenal. Pay attention to the description though because there is a very steep long stairway to access the home. You will be hauling everything up and down it. The parking is a very slim sliver of gravel next to a narrow lane. Would only fit one large car and one small compact. We had to drive to the end of the lane and turn around in the neighbor's drive way to get out. That being said, not a issue for us. The TV stand had a broken leg and the TV had a bit of a lean, and so we didn't use it. We had fun looking for shells on the beach during low tide. We would absolutely stay here again."
