Relaxing Getaway-Enjoy a hot tub in the woods

  • For a quiet time to relax and listen to nature. Deer Run Cottage is perfect. There is a king size bed in private bedroom and 2 single beds in the loft area that will accommodate 4 people. The rustic cabin has modern conveniences such as a stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, Keurig, toaster and 2 TV's with DirecTV. And with a view of the mountains and trees from every window you'll enjoy getting back to nature. So sit back and relax, either on the spacious deck or in the hot tub. It is nestled in the beautiful Pennsylvania mountains but close enough to amenities. Such as County Line Restaurant that offers home cooking. Two golf courses near by for the golf enthusiast. And there is Little Buffalo state park (seasonal) in Newport that offers a water park for the kids, kayaking, paddle boats, fishing and hiking. Get away weekend

Deer Run Cottage was great! We planned a two day fishing trip on the Juniata river and stayed here Friday and Saturday night. It had everything we needed. The location was private and peaceful, had all the amenities we needed and was VERY clean. We definitely plan on coming back.
