After emailing, then calling with no answer, then standing outside looking for entrance, heard a voice over a speaker asking for a call back so he could inform me of our room. Once I established communication via phone, host was readily available for any questions but having check in information prior to driving to accommodation is definitely preferred. "The garden was lovely for sitting out at night and the apartment had a nice balcony and well located. Key issues were there was no air conditioning and almost everywhere has that so we were hot. Also the oven didn’t work - it made the power trip for the whole flat. Big issue to not be able to cook. But as we were there for three days and didn’t really want to cook much it was ok. Heat of the apartment the main issue but location central and great and star gazing from the lovely garden at night...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on ground floor with own entrance. New, clean, and excellent location. There is no sitting room, but in the kitchen was aflatscreen tv, a satellite receiver, digital terrestrial receiver, and in the main bedroom was another flatscreen tv and digital terrestrial receiver. There are about 2 news channels in English, and the rest is slovenian, german, and french. But who cares, the outdoors are fantastic. One important point: Though it says on the Hotels.com...

We stayed 4 nights at the Triglav Bled. We had a suite overlooking the lake; it is a most beautiful view. The hotel is a little way up the hillside so the walk up from the lake is quite steep. It is a very pleasant walk of about a mile round the lake to Bled. All of the staff at the hotel were excellent and made us most welcome. We ate every night in the hotel’s restaurant where we chose the chef’s recommended 4 course meal each time. The food was delicious, well presented and imaginative. The...

The owner was lovely, as were rest of the staff. We had a warm welcome and a tour of our room prior to check-in. The Superior room was incredible. Really nicely furnished, clean, plenty of complimentary amenities. We had an amazing meal in the evening - one of the nicest we've had in Slovenia, followed by an equally enjoyable breakfast. The stay was not cheap but certainly worth the price, especially as the B&B is such a short walk from Lake Bled. Parking right in front of the accomodation is...
