"Great place to stay. Clean room, very quiet. Short walking distance from the Cologne Cathedral and a few galleries/museums. Train station is close by and local food was amazing."

"Guests are not allowed to use the refrigerator; if you want to use it, you have to pay 10 euros. I paid 250 euros per room per night. The minibar is off-limits; if you want to eat anything, you have to pay a 100 euro deposit. Most five-star hotels include this in the room rate. When I asked if they could remove items from the refrigerator so I could store yogurt and medicine, the hotel said they could, but I would have to pay an extra 10 euros. The room was very old. The air conditioning didn't work; I asked the hotel to fix it, but they sent a fan instead. The curtains wouldn't open. When showering, the hot water suddenly turned cold. This is a five-star hotel? It doesn't deserve five stars; two stars would suffice. I feel terrible; it was a really bad experience."

"We only needed a bed for the night as we were attending a concert. The bed was large, clean and very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. We needed a taxi to get to the venue and they had one for us within 3 minutes. Fresh water, still or sparkling on demand at the front entrance. Shower snd restroom were cleaned and well stocked. The AC wotked great. We were comfortable all night. Fresh nespresso or tea in the AM. Would definitely stay there again"

"Room Had very strong bad smell and Cigarette Smell ( Room 440 ) however reception did not accept to change the room. Also the hotel does not even provide toiletries at all , you just get all-in-one hair/body shampoo/wash. no ear buds, shower cap, not even tissue box ( hand/face issues ) !!! moreover, the room does not have a fridge , does not have hot water kettle !! Pillows are extremely cheap quality. The sound proof is ZERO .. you can hear people walking and speaking very clearly finally the breakfast was extremely basic .. not worth the money , you can not order basic omelet .. I recommend to stay away and book at Holiday Inn Holiday hotel which is Next door to it."
