"The staff were friendly and helpful and the Inn is really good. There was a lot of noise until past 1am which was unfortunate and kept us awake but as the bar was shut I’m not sure what the staff could have done to stop it."

The accommodation had been double booked but they still went above and beyond to find a resolution and we did in fact stay at this lovely property. Our room was immaculate, the bathroom was stunning with the most amazing bath and shower! The food at their restaurant was “to die for”. It just melted in the mouth and service was excellent. We really enjoyed the beer garden and chatting to some of the local people, who met us with warm welcoming smiles. Would definitely stay here again!!

The room was clean however it is smaller than we expected but it was worth for money.
Free parking available however it gets busy in the evening because the people those who are coming to pub also use the same carpark.
The hotel situated in a great location. Aldi and Tesco Extra are few minutes walking distance. Curry house and kebab shops are close too.

Stayed here over a 2 nights and would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.
The staff, landlord and landlady are genuinely the nicest people I have stayed with.
Very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Atmosphere in the pub was lovely and the staff are happy to help in anyway you need.
Rooms were spacious, clean and have everything you need. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast was tasty and was just what was needed to set us up both days.

This is a lovely old hotel that reminds me of old style fishing hotels I used to stay in when I was a kid and every river had a number of hotels that made a good living from visiting anglers. Unfortunately the days of relying on angling trade are gone, but this place retains the same feel and sense of peace and quiet that I used to love.
The food was really nice and the lady that served it was lovely and very attentive.
I will make a point of staying there whenever so am in the area and next...

Very clean, newly refurbished pub in a good location with interesting artistic decorations by local artist who owns the property. Good base to explore this part of the Wales/England border. Comfortable room and excellent breakfast. We ate at the pub both nights and evening meal was also very good. Lovely staff. Parking seemed to be no problem, either in pub's very small car park or on roads in village.

This is my go to hotel when I visit my son at the Uni, so I've stayed multiple times.
Never had a bad stay, reception is always welcoming and rooms are clean and comfortable beds.
It is a 15-20 min walk from town and further to the sea but the location suits me as I like walking and the free parking is a big plus.
