"We visited for a mini break in the first few days of 2026, looking for a peaceful location to consume the final cheese and port from Christmas and set up our intentions and plans for the year. The lodge is beautifully set on the site, and feels very luxurious. Underfloor heating and the hottub were invaluable as the snow arrived! A lovely location to explore Elan Valley and the dams, and the recommendation of The Crown Inn was spot on for lunch."

"Had a lovely break in rabbits view, the hobbit hole was brilliant, very clean and comfy. Really clear instructions to check in and appreciated the tea, coffee and milk left for us to use, and the waffles! Would definitely recommend as it was a very peaceful relaxing break. Very easy to find using Google maps too and nice and close to drive down to the town. Overall we had a brilliant stay."
