We truly enjoyed our stay at the Ion City Hotel. Great central location on the main pedestrian street in the middle of Reykjavík. The hotel’s central location made for convenient access to the sites, restaurants, bars, etc. The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations, getting us a taxi, etc. Our international flight arrived early morning. Once our room was cleaned and ready they allowed us to check in early. Would definitely stay at the Zion City again.

The staff was fabulous! She went above and beyond to help us get our luggage, park our car and recommend a place for dinner. Our rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great location near everything.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel is a bit hard to find as there are no big signs but we did. Right on the Main Street with shopping and restaurants nearby and easy walking to multiple bus stops.
