The room was on two levels that might be a problem if you have mobility issues. It was fine, although it is older and has suffered wear and tear. It's a handy location, that does outweigh any specific issues. The check-in was fine, this seems to be how most places work that are not hotels. The Duus restaurant is under the same roof and had a sociable atmosphere with tasty food. We thought the menu was expensive, but it was pretty much the same as any restaurant in Iceland There's plenty of parking at the front.

Easy to get to from the airport, easy to check in and park. However, the room itself was a bit dated and the bathroom situation is WEIRD. There was a tiny sink next to the bed and a toilet with shower behind about 2.2m tall partition meaning all the sound and smell is literally next to bed. Also, the window was not closing properly, so there was a bit of a draft. Common areas were basic and totally fine. Perhaps an okay stay for one but wouldn't recommend otherwise

Ideal location for early start to the airport but very expensive for what is a run down hotel. Our room had loose cables running from a ceiling socket to the tv, shower head missing in the bathroom, thick dust on the sofa bed, and just a very tired and battered decor.
