The villa is very comfortable. However it is a bit secluded, and not easy to access (steep road). The information available on the leisure exits and restaurants in the area is appreciable. The owners are considerate and offer gifts (cakes, flowers...). We visited several sites during our stay . The best souvenir is the beach of Praveli and access to the gorges just at the end of the beach. Lenvironnement est plutt calme sauf les blements des chvres et le chant des coqs mais cest un petit village de campagne. En 15 minutes on est Rethymnon et la villa est galement bien place pour visiter les alentours. We were delighted to be welcomed with first evening and morning food and drinks already provided by the landlord. The pool was great and clean. We really enjoyed out stay! Owners very nice and responsive. But of a hairy drive through the village but you get used to it. Highly recommend Staras restaurant - 10 mins walk away in the village. The staff were efficient, kind and helpful. We did fi... The villa was excellent as was the service. The staff were efficient, kind and helpful. We did find the mattresses hard and uncomfortable which made sleeping difficult. Another problem was that there is a dog which resides in a property below which barks loudly and frequently for a long time, very often at night. There are other dogs which we could cope with but this one is bad. We also thought that some instructions on using the electrical appliances could be useful. The villa is well furnished and spotlessly clean, ... We have just had the best 2 week holiday ever! The villa is well furnished and spotlessly clean, as is the pool and beautiful garden. The service the owners gave is faultless, they are very welcoming and on hand if needed, and come twice a week to clean. The villa is well situated to be able to explore the Island and see some of the beautiful areas of Crete. We came home well rested and with fantastic memories.
