This extravagant 240sqm luxury villa sits on a hilltop, approx. 3 km from the village of Prines, with breathtaking panoramic views of the sea and mountains. With a great sense of design and style, an extraordinary natural stone property was created here in 2013 that is unparalleled on Crete. The architect's idea was to combine a traditional Cretan stone house with Venetian influences, reminiscent of the 16th century summer villas in Crete. The exposed hillside location was the basis for a spacious overall concept. The courtyard was very handy when the wind was stronger particularly goo for Breakfasts. There are many places to relax and plenty of chairs sofa's and hammocks and the hot tub was a nice extra to have. Being higher up the winds can be quite strong on certain days and it was a little longer to reach from Rethymno than I was expecting. But once in the villa it is a great experience and also it was quite quick to head over to the south of the island from the villa as well. We enjoyed our stay here. ##### Jon i. Darin wurden dann ein paar Bahnen geschwommen und etwas Wassergymnastik gemacht. Mein Mann ging noch eine Runde laufen. Die Tage verbrachten wir faul am Pool oder am Strand bei Georgioupoli (ca. 15 Min mit dem Auto), wo man herrlich Baden und spazieren gehen kann. In der Nähe gibt es viele schöne Ausflugsziele zum Wandern und erkunden, Rethymno hat eine zauberhafte Altstadt, die perfekt zum Bummeln ist und viele ausgezeichnete Restaurants hat. In Deutschland kann man in keinster Weise so gut griechisch essen gehen wie dort, schon die Tapas sind sensationell. Wieder in der Villa gab es einem Sundowner am Pool mit perfektem Blick auf den Sonnenuntergang. Abends haben wir oft gegrillt oder in der perfekt eingerichteten Küche gekocht. Für mich hat die Villa Rimondi noch einen unschlagbaren Vorteil, den wundervollen Innenhof. An windigen Tagen sitzt man dort perfekt geschützt in fast schon historische r Atmosphäre. Die beeindruckende Eingangstür, der Marmorboden, alte Olivenbäume und der leise plätschernde Brunnen im Hintergrund, dazu ein paar Kerzen und die Sterne von oben... dazu ein Glas griechischer Wein und leise Musik aus der bereitstehenden Bluetooth Anlage... da mochten wir gar nicht in unser extrem bequemes Bett fallen. Die Schlafzimmer und Bäder sind alle sehr geschmackvoll und großzügig, die ganze Einrichtung sehr hochwertig und das Haus ist im topgepflegten Zustand. Dazu die nette und persönliche Betreuung durch Familie Beibl, einfach perfekt. Wir haben uns schon entschieden und für 2019 bereits wieder gebucht! Traumferien im Traumhaus eben! ##### Andrea T. ---
