The area is ideal for athletic activities, cycling, and hiking. This modern-designed villa is constructed using the highest quality materials and is spread across three floors. It consists of two individual and interdependent apartments spread in 3 levels, surrounded by furnished relaxation areas and a garden. On the middle floor there is a spacious living and dining area with a comfortable sofa that turns to a bed, a fireplace and a large tv set. Next to it there is an open plan fully equipped kitchen with all modern amenities such as a dishwasher, oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle. Furthermore, at this level there is a bathroom and a storage room. On the upper floor there are three bedrooms, one spacious double one and two single bedrooms. Furthermore, a fully equipped bathroom and a small hallway with a working space and a seating area. Finally, at the lowest level there are two bedrooms, one double and one with a single bed, a kitchen with a dining area and a bathroom.The villa is fully equipped with modern appliances, such as Satellite TV sets, Wi-Fi coverage, individually controlled air conditioners, HiFi, DVD, washing machine, tumble dryer. Outside, you'll find a private 20 sqm swimming pool surrounded by loungers and umbrellas, as well as a stone-built BBQ and outdoor furniture. Parking spaces are available on the property. The settlement of Gallou is a semi-mountain village in the prefecture of Rethymno with lush vegetation throughout the year located southwest of the city of Rethymno.In the settlement of Gallou, which has been declared traditional since 1995, there are supermarkets, sports facilities, the National Stadium of Rethymno, municipal tennis courts, taverns with traditional Cretan cuisine, cafeterias and newly built residences for students, since 200 meters away there is the University of Crete. The owners accommodated our very late night arrival. The house was more than big enough for our family of 5 and we really enjoyed cooling down in the pool. The location is nice - outside Rethymno but close enough to easily get to the beach. Accueil bien organisé, endroit très calme. Commerces de proximité à quelques dizaines de mètres (mention spéciale pour la Taverne Christo). Nous avons passé d'agréables vacances dans ce charmant village de Gallos. Toutefois, quelques points sont à réapprécier afin de rendre le séjour de vos futurs clients parfait. Ainsi la vaisselle mise à disposition est plutôt minimaliste et donc bien trop insuffisante (pas de presse-fruits ou de saladier, ...,). J'ai été obligé d'en acheter pour avoir un minimum de confort. La piscine est petite et malheureusement quasiment jamais utilisable car constamment pleine de feuilles (les arbres du voisin auraient besoin d'être taillés avant le début de la saison touristique). L'organisation de la terrasse extérieure (quelque peu étriquée) notamment pour les dîners n'est pas optimale. Elle oblige de nombreux voyages et il faudrait à minima mettre à disposition des plateaux de service. J'aurai aimé que l'on puisse répondre favorablement à ma demande de transfert vers la villa STAR, qui est plus spacieuse, libre sur une bonne partie de mon séjour et qui ne rencontre pas certains désagréments de la villa SUN. Si ces points pouvaient corrigés, je reviendrai sans aucune hésitation ##### nicolas m.
