Amara Villas are managed by "etouri vacation rental management". Amara Villas is a brand new holiday complex, consisted of 3 independent Villas, each one with its own private pool. The location of Amara Villa III is ideal for a car free holiday, as the sandy beach is just 100 metres away and our guests have access to private sun beds, just for them. Also, all daily amenities are within walking distance, facilitating your every day needs and the city of Rethymno, with its picturesque Old Town is only 3 Km away. Amara Villa III is a three-storey 185 sq. m luxurious residence, decorated in a minimal, holiday style and attention was paid in every detail, having our guests comfort in mind, using high quality design and furnishings throughout. The Villa can comfortably accommodate 6 guests in its 3 bedrooms and up to 8 if necessary. Indoor Layout Lower Floor On the lower level of the Villa guests can find a bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower cabin and access to the pool terrace through a staircase. All bedrooms are air conditioned and are equipped with 32 HDTVs and double beds (1,60 X 2,00 m) with comfortable mattresses. The playroom with 49 HDTV with Netflix, Playstation 4, bluetooth speaker, board games and siting area with sofa, will offer many pleasant moments to you and your family. The playroom offers access to the pool terrace through a staircase. Additionally, the sauna and gym with static bike, treadmill, weights, and two yoga mats will help you keep in shape during your holiday. Finally, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is also available. Ground Floor Reaching the ground floor, you will find yourselves in the living room area providing a sofa and armchairs, 32 HDTV, as well as pool view and direct access to the terrace. Furthermore, the fully equipped kitchen with indoor dining area with island counter, wine cooler, sofa and 49 HDTV, provides all necessary appliances and equipment for your self catered vacation. Additionally, one more bedroom with an en-suite jacuzzi bathtub and a WC next to it can also be found on this level. First Floor After ascending a few stairs, guests can find the third bedroom of he Villa, which offers an en-suite bathroom with shower cabin, as well as access to a veranda equipped with patio furniture, overlooking the pool. Outdoor area The beautifully landscaped outdoor area and the pool terrace are fully fenced offering total privacy to our guests. More specifically our outdoor facilities include:? \- 50 sq. m. private heated swimming pool (1,50 m. deep) featuring a special compartment for children (0,50 m. deep). The pool can be heated upon request with an additional daily charge (Please note that the pool heating can be used upon advance request for the entire stay and it requires at least one week advance notice.) \- 3 comfortable double day beds and umbrellas \- Shaded gazebo with outdoor living room next to the pool \- Ping pong table is available \- 2 bicycles are available upon request \- Charcoal barbecue facilities \- Shaded outdoor dining area \- Parking space for 1 car outside the Villa INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA The Villa is located in Missiria area in Rethymno. Misiria is a consecutive suburb of Rethymnon. A long sandy beach stretches along the area, which is an extension of vast north coastline that starts near the harbour of Rethymno and extends to the east for 13km till Skaleta beach. It is very well organised, with a plethora of choices for food, drink and beach bars. Like in all parts of the long beachfront, loggerhead sea turtles (Caretta caretta) lay their eggs here. The turtles are threatened with extinction, but the Rethymno Gulf is one of the three most important places for the species in Greece, bearing annually more than 400 nests in average. The town of Rethymno also offers many sightseeing spots, such as the Fortezza fortress, the Venetian harbour, several mosques, the municipal garden and more. Furthermore, several picturesque villages are within close proximity ideal for walks around the area. It was very clean - the shutters, insect screens and sealed external doors kept out any unwanted visitors. The pool was perfect and our 6 month old grandson loved the jacuzzi in the pool. Location was also perfect, walking distance to shops, bars and restaurants, but far enough not to encroach on our peace. Otilia met us when we arrived and showed us around, and was available all through our stay if we had any questions. The property is very close to the supermarket and lots of restaurants. We did have a car but you don’t really need one. The pool was lovely, we did have it heated as it might have been a bit cold even though the temperature was in the late 20’s to early 30’s. What a fantastic property... modern, contemporary, amazingly well provisioned - there is virtually zero not to like about Amara III Villa and the ETOURI services crew who look after it... Kostas' communications are flawless before your trip and then Adonis' approach to looking after you when you're there are equally as professional and importantly kind and considerate. The pool and outside area is cleaned every day - the pool incidentally is beautiful - we chose to have heated and whilst somewhat of a luxury at 60E per day, meant we could use 24/7\. Inside the villa is superb - 3 floors mean 2 or even 3 couples could be accommodated in privacy - our 12 year old had the whole of the lower floor to herself and loved the gym and TV room/playstation for doing her thing and YouTube etc etc. Great wi-fi and the poolside speaker in conjunction meant long lazy days by the pool were fab! Local to the villa a number of small shops, supermarkets and tavernas were good - the beach a short stroll away with sun loungers for our use... In terms of location within Rethymno you're about 3kms from the old city so a taxi ride (around 10E) necessary but in conjunction with Etouri, the taxi service was a simple call and ready at the end of the short walk along the villa pathway. The old town is beautiful, fish restaurants around the harbour delightful. In summary, we will be contacting the Etouri Team again for our next trip to Crete! I can't wait! ##### Marcus H.
