"This is a quaint place to stay after a day of exploring the Black Hills. The room was clean and inviting. And with the common room, my friends, who love hot tea in the morning, could drink, sit on the sofa and anticipate the day’s adventures. We were given a discount at dinner at Shipwrecks, which is on the property. The next morning we were able to select from a variety of breakfast foods. The portions of the food were plentiful and we were sad we couldn’t finish the delicious food. Adam, one of the owners, and Rudy, who works there went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and were very accommodating. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I was ever in the area!"

"The location of the house worked great for our group. Enough space for everyone to enjoy. The gas grill was in extremely bad condition, and we had bought steaks for the first night. I texted with the host right away about spots on the carpet as we arrived and also sent pictures of those and the grill.When we returned the next day, there was a brand-new gas grill on the back deck which was a great turnaround.The only complaint from one of the guests is the fact you are required to fill out a short form with name and email address in order to access the Wi-Fi."

"Loved everything about our stay! Quiet, comfortable, clean. The jacuzzi tub was an awesome treat so as the bunny, dear and bighorn sheep frolicking around the cabin. There are number of other houses and cabins around. I actually was looking for a more remote place for my husband and I to escape to so initially was bummed to see properties close by but at the end everything turned out just fine since there really wasn’t much traffic in the neighborhood. Also, this way running back to the store was much easier, Walmart maybe 10 min away. Make sure you bring your own salt, spices, sugar if you are planning to do your own cooking. Our host had a lovely bag of coffee and oil waiting for us but you will need the other things. We are from Utah and did a road trip through Wyoming and South Dakota. We stayed for 4 nights but easily could have stayed for a week or more to do justice visiting the spectacular Black Hills. Would come back and stay here in a heart beat!"
