This property was everything we needed for our family trip. The house fit our big family of 2 sets of grandparents, 9 grown kids with 5 little grandkids. The morning visits from the deer and kitty just added to the experience for us.

The Alabama gang

Perfect for our whole family (ages 84-1)! Excellent location to explore Custer State Park, Mt Rushmore, Spearfish, Devil’s Tower, Sturgis, Deadwood/Lead and Badlands! We did it all! Also wonderful wildlife viewing ( turkey and white-tail deer) sitting on back deck.

Beautiful, great location!

We had ten family members (2 children, 3 teens, 3 adults, 2 senior citizens) staying here to enjoy spring break. This rental was well stocked. The home was spacious and clean, and the beautiful, quiet location was close to all our activities. We would definitely stay here again.

Multigenerational family trip

The place was perfect for us. So many sleeping arrangement options, great seating for everyone, plenty of outdoor room to play! The location was perfect for our planned activities. Connie was wonderful, she brought over a fire pit for us to do s’mores on and also kept an eye on the weather to take one of the cars in, she had wonderful little touches of thoughtfulness around the place. It was great! Thank you!!

Best place to stay!

We were a group of 3 families all with young children and there could not have been a better option for a place to stay!! PERFECT location, tons of space/room in the house and loved the outdoor area where we were able to play lots of games outside! The host was so kind and would 100% recommend this place to everyone and we will be back!!

Perfect Place!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The house was close to all the major attractions. It was stocked with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen. The kids enjoyed the games and puzzles provided. We would stay again!!

Nice getaway place to rent.!

This is really a very neat and well maintained property. Located at right place to people visiting Mt.Rushmore. This is very secure, private, clean and have all the amenities with many beds to sleep a big party with comfort. We would definitely like to rent this place again for our next trip to Mt.Rushmore.

Sturgis Trip of a Lifetime

The house was just as described. Very clean and the small details were amazing. It was a perfect place for a getaway and close to everything for Sturgis bike week. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect getaway!

We loved the space it provided for our family of 13! Lots of bedrooms for everyone and lots of room! We really loved the large yard and how private it was. It was very homey and close to all the things our family wanted to go see and do! Great place for kids as it is off the main road a little and there is plenty of room for them to run around outside!

Great home for a family gathering close to Custer State Park

We stayed here for a multi-generational family gathering. The house is much larger than it looks in the photos. Really well stocked kitchen for cooking for a large group. Extra card table available and plenty of space and beds including two rooms with bunks and trundle beds. Great location that is close to the Black Hills and Custer State Park.

Great Black Hills base

Enjoyed our 4 night stay at this VRBO. Clean! Convenient to all the Black Hills attractions. Rapid City just 10 minutes away for groceries. The home is very spacious, comfortable for large groups. It has everything you need to enjoy time on vacation.

Great place for families!

We enjoyed our short stay here. There were 13 of us and there was room for everyone to sleep. The teens really enjoyed the ping pong table! Everything was clean and well stocked. We didn’t know what to expect as this was our first VRBO experience after owning Wyndham time shares for 35 years, but were pleasantly impressed.

Perfect for everyone

It was perfect for our group of 15 with many of them being kids between the ages of 2 and 18. Everything we could need was there and there was so much room we never felt like we were on top of each other. Outside was beautiful as well and plenty of room to set up an inflatable screen with a projector to watch an outdoor movie! Everyone in our group loved this house!

South Dakota Fun!

This property handled a large family (12 altogether) very well. It was clean. The location was excellent for two reasons: (1) The house itself was in a lovely, private setting with a view. (2) We were within acceptable driving distance to Rushmore, Custer State Park, the Badlands, Hot Springs, and more. The owners were very easy to communicate with, and we had a great experience. 10 out of 10 recommend

Clean, Welcoming & Well-located

A very well-appointed, very very clean & spacious home on a large lot with a view of the Black Hills. Located very conveniently off a main highway, perfect distance away to provide peace & quiet; also, no gravel road! Only one neighbor, and you’ll have plenty of space outside for games - 10 of us played kickball. The host was very responsive to our inquiries, from the booking experience through the time of our stay, and came personally to tell us of impending bad weather. Extra little perks that you’ll discover when you book here…. Just special touches… Thanks for a wonderful experience in the Rapid City area, Connie Sue!

We all loved it.

To celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, our kids, grandkids, and great grandkids all met in this lovely home for three nights. Each family had their own bedroom area and bathroom in addition to the large living room for us all to gather. The boys loved the table tennis, as well as the horse shoe pit. The large backyard was perfect to play the lawn games they brought. There was a cupboard of board games for the rainy time and tables to play them on. We were just a short drive from the Faces to watch the lighting ceremony and a short drive to a lake to fish one afternoon. We fit 10 around the large the dining room table plus 4 at a card table beside it. It was perfect for us and I highly recommend it. The home was easy to find off the highway between Rapid City and Mount Rushmore in a quiet rural setting.
