Love peppermill so clean, food is delicious, staff are amazing and what we love the most is the pool . 100% recommend

Serious wifi issues upon arriving at room. Connection issues (never had this before in a hotel), requiring their IT to visit my room. Took about half hour to establish connection. Then, the next morning, failed to connect. When inquiring at front desk, was told the whole site's wifi was "down" for maintenance until 9 a.m. I've never heard of this in my many hotel stays...who cuts off wifi access without (at least) some warning? After those two issues, my stay was comfortable, with special kudos to Nichica at the front desk who quickly found a better room location (Peppermill Tower) and was friendly and gracious the entire time...a true professional with wonderful customer service!

I found the Peppermill Tower to be loud, with big gaps around the doors letting in hallway noise and door-slamming shaking the room most of the night. A big negative. The casino is still fine--unlike most every US casino, the Peppermill continues to have playable VP. I wouldn't make the trip from Chicago without it. I know the casino needs an edge, just give me a sporting chance--that's what makes it fun. One suggestion for the slot manager--some of the best VP in the house is at the Terrace Lounge (35/8/8/8 AA, 8/5 SDDB). It has live music most nights and friendly bartenders that will serve top-shelf liquor. But I can't get on the machines on the weekend because they are loaded with local fleas pecking at 5c Lion Fish to get free $16 top shelf liquor. Kick them out--raise the minimum limits to 25c or preferably $1.00. For the good liquor and playable VP, I would pay that.

This hotel resort isn't for the weak at heart. The rooms are very far away and very hard to get to. To get to my room, I had to walk down a long hall and take the elevator to the third floor, Then I had to walk down a walkway to the next elevator and take it to the 2nd floor and walk to the other end of the 2nd floor hallway. We never found the pool or hot tub. Ridiculous set up. The food was just okay, and you had to have reservations to go to any of the other restaurants. The casino was fun. They picked us up at the airport which was good however they dropped us off at the other end of the airport and was a very long walk to check in. I don't think I would stay there again because of the distance to get to my room.
