Hotels of this standard with spas are often outside the centre so it was great to stay here - to be so comfortable and so close to shops, restaurants, walks etc. The staff person in reception gave a us a map and outlined a walk round the city which we took, and saw all the main sites, especially the old historic quarter. What a fantastic hotel, right in the heart of the city. The hotel itself has an eclectic mix of memorabilia, mainly centred in the music industry - and even boasts its own recording studio. The staff are very attentive and professional, and the whole place feels wonderfully relaxed. The Expedia description doesn’t mention parking, but don’t let this put you off. There is both on street parking as well as an underground car park within 100m of the hotel.

Highly recommended on all fronts. Exceptional location in a beautiful historic building. Wonderful design down to every detail. The owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Go visit.

Very stylish hotel, well located in central Rennes with a well prices public car park just next door. Rooms are well sized, comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and welcoming.

The reception staff was incredibly kind and welcoming: they were always in a good mood and ready to help. As I arrived early I could leave my bag at the hotel until check in was possible. The room was comfy and provided a very comfortable bed, a hot shower, hairdryer and coffeemaker as well as heating. Though being located next to a main street I didn’t hear any street noise. One evening I went to have dinner at the hotel (at dinner they offer 3 options) but didn’t feel like eating what was on...

Excellent hotel. Clean spacious rooms and great breakfast

A spacious apartment which was 6 months old, 15 minutes walk from city centre.Spotlessly clean, I wish all acconmodation was like this.

From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel very welcome by Emilie. She was very helpful with directions and translations. The gentleman on reception was also very good. There was also a hard working young lady at breakfast time who was very friendly.

We stayed over for a little bit. The hotel is very conveniently located with many places for food and walking around. Staff very attentive! We liked the view from the balcony. Room was very clean and the bed comfy. I found breakfast adequate. Nothing was warm but we got 30’. I would increase fruit, have milk available and leave the boiled eggs out of the fridge. Worth the stay

Room’s clean and the bathroom is new. Old fashioned building. Staff speaks perfect English and explains things well. Nothing to complain with this price.

Almost everything about this hotel was perfect. The only criticism for me would be the lack of a proper mirror to do my hair or a full length one. The only available mirror was the shaving/make up one over the sink in the bathroom area. The restaurant served excellent evening meal but we didn’t take breakfast. Could not fault the helpfulness of the staff.
