"It was like stepping back in time when we walked into our room at this motel - old fashioned and very much 1960's style. (The bathroom floor tiling took me back to the days when I used to live with my grandmother who had a bathroom floor of the same design!) However, these remarks are not meant as unkind criticisms. This motel was well located near our party venue and there was parking right outside our room. The spacious room was spotless and had all the toiletry and tea/coffee making supplies which we have come to expect in Australian motels. The bed was really comfortable and the sheets were crisp and clean. All in all this motel suited us admirably and I would recommend it. Travelers should note that there is no reception as it is a 'self check-in' motel, which means you need to get room number and key code before you can get into the room. However, this is a straight forward process. My only negative criticism is that it was a bit overpriced, especially as we stayed in the depth of winter."

Very handy location as a base to explore Sydney and surrounds. Great selection of fast food restaurants nearby and larger shopping centres with a five minute drive. One hour train drive to Sydney which was very handy."

"Hidden secret in beautiful bushland setting. Peaceful, tranquil & enjoyed a stopover retreat to rest & recharge.Log cabin, rustic but modern with new bathroom, plush bedding, cable TV and the fireplace (coonara type) was fantastic for a cold night. Our hosts had it all lit, cosy and warm when we arrived which was a thoughtful welcome. We didn't have time to explore the surroundings but it was clear we were welcome to walk around and would have if staying longer. Perfect for your fur baby too. An enclosed grass area out the front was enjoyed by our mini Cavoodle knowing he was safe to wander around. Deb was super to deal with, excellent communication from booking to checking out. The bathroom has the best batch to soak and relax, along with a rain shower which was the best. Highly recommend, particularly if you're looking for dog friendly on your travels."
