I chose a room with a sea view and it was very nice. The room is good sized and clean, with a large comfortable bed. Bathroom facilities were very basic, but it is what one would expect on a relatively small island. There are lots of restaurants to choose from all along the beach, and at the same time, the little town is a very short walk away and offers other dining options, as well as shopping and massage shops. Right in the middle of Sai Kaew beach (busiest beach) super clean. Staff are very polite and would go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. It was a very good room with a very large balcony. I would say the balcony was probably as big as the room. As the room description says we had a sea view and from the balcony you can see the entire length of the island. The room was very clean but the bathroom did smell a bit in the late afternoon and evening but keeping the door closed kept the smell away from the rest of the room. The restaurant attached to the hotel served very good Thai food. There was some noise coming from a nearby bar in the evening but not enough to disturb us. Be warned that the songthaew from the ferry port cannot take you to the hotel front so there is maybe a 5 minute walk to the hotel from where it stops. Also, this room is on the 4th floor and there is no lift.
