It situated at a walkable distance of the town's center and his little highlights: such as the stunning gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, the Cathedral, etc. The house is spacious, quiet and comfortable The real magic of the house is the 450sqm flat garden with a never-ending panorama of Ravello, of the coastline and of the surrounding few small, old towns and villages That are scattered along the green arena of Monti Lattari and the narrow valley of the Dragon (a valley That separates from Ravello Scala), which have beautifully tended gardens and terraced fields and end at the sea. The views are spectacular and equivalent to Those of the much more lavishly-priced hotels in the area. A glass of wine or a cold limoncello while admiring such a beautiful private view is a memory you will not forget. The interiors are extremely airy and tastefully furnished with a mixture of traditional, elegant and modern fittings, all to an excellent criteria to offer all you need for great holidays. Serene and peaceful, Garden house is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway or a small group seeking a place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Amalfi Coast. There are nature paths next to the house's door, Which allow guests to reach Amalfi or Minori on foot, starting from a point high up in the hills, suspended between the sky and the sea where Ravello is situated. If you like walking, walks These are not to be missed: at every step brief glimpses of breathtaking views open up in front of your eyes And These will become unforgettable memories That will stay in your heart after your holiday has ended A car is not Necessary here, the local bus service is excellent and is a cheap and a great way to get around the area if you do not want to drive. The SITA bus stop with a regular service to Amalfi is 10 minutes away from the house. A car is useful for Those keen on going a little Further a field to Pompeii, Naples etc .. Parking space is available for € 30 (valet service included), located at the edge of the town. Parking spaces must be reserved in advance INTERNAL DESCRIPTION Accommodation (approx. 90 sq. M. Indoor + 450 sq. M. Outdoor): sleeps 4 Entrance is into a corridor. You will be able to enter the rooms from the corridor. The first room on the left is a modern kitchen in the white and green colors Which opens wide onto the private garden. The kitchen is well outfitted for cooking in. It is equipped with a four-burner gas cookers, an electric oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, an Italian-style coffee-maker, an American-style coffee-maker, a table seating 4 people and all the modern appliances. The spacious living / dining room is furnished with two sofas seating four people, an air conditioning / heating unit, a dining table seating six people, a flat- screen satellite TV, an antique cupboard and a fireplace in a corner. This room is very airy and full of light thanks to a French door facing the garden. The double bedroom is simply decorated with a modern silver chest of drawers, a built-in wardrobe, a flat-screen TV (local channels), an air conditioning / heating unit and a window opening onto the courtyard. Then comes the bathroom with a full shower stall, a washbasin, a bidet, a toilet, an hairdryer and a small skylight. The master bedroom is fully of light and airy featuring en-suite bathroom. It is tastefully furnished with some antique furniture (a wardrobe, two bedside tables and in drawers), a flat- screen TV (local channels), an air-conditioning / heating unit and a window overlooking the greenery and the hills of the medieval village of Scala. The en suite bathroom is modern and spacious, very well decorated with handmade majolica tiles in the white and green colors. It is equipped with a full stall shower, a bathtub, a washbasin, a bidet, a toilet, an hairdryer and a window. Outside, the porch is shaded by an American vine pergola under Which is arranged an outdoor dining area equipped with table and chairs for 6 people, a wicker sofa and two armchairs around a coffee table; then, the wide L-shaped garden, delimited by a hedge and adorned with some fruit trees, is equipped with sun loungers and a stone bench. On a side of the garden, in a secluded position, is the outdoor shower and a barbecue. There's a washing machine in an outdoor laundry near the house, and clothing lines for air-drying. AMENITIES Air conditioning and central heating units in each room, washing machine, sat TV, four-burner cooker with electric oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, electric oven, toaster, kettle, ironing facilities, hair dryers, wi-fi access, baby cot, central heating. We certainly were hoping for the beautiful and peaceful property that was promised. Instead, we were hugely disappointed to find an unkept lawn that was full of weeds that had not been maintained for weeks. The weeds were over a foot tall with very little actual grass in the yard. The hedges were unkept with little to no flowers on the property. The view of the sea was not possible from the porch, so the only way to see the sea would be to walk through the weed patch. In short, the "garden" was poorly maintained and looks nothing like the pictures. Even though we immediately voiced our complaints, nothing was done to clean it up during the 3 days we were there. We were initially met by a young woman who was kind and helpful. She showed us to the property, which would be difficult to find on your own. The inside of the apartment was basic but functional. The linens were old and worn with towels the texture of sandpaper. There were no paper products in the apartment with not even one extra roll of toilet paper to be found. For clarity, there is no "Parking on site" as shown in the Popular amenities. Lastly, cats are protected in Ravello with many strays in the alleys. Be prepared to be careful when walking to the apartment to avoid stepping in cat urine and feces. This was clearly the low point to our beautiful vacation. ##### Mark F. We picked Ravello instead of the crowded other Amalfi coast towns and did not regret our decision. The yard attached to the apt. is so wonderful and spent a lot of town relaxing overlooking the ocean and surrounding countryside. A grocery store is close by and many nice restaurants are convenient to walk to. We were met by a lovely owner representative who showed us all around and gave us keys and hints for the town. The Homeaway App is a great way to stay in touch. Walk down to the bus stop for a quick ride to Amalfi and ferry to Positano are a must do. Lots of fun and shopping.
