"Good communication from the owner before we arrived. Property was an old cottage, but quaint and clean and had everything we needed except milk or sugar. The washer and dryer was a bonus. "

Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!...

"We chose this location, as it gave us access to the Kintail mountains and Fort William in one direction, and the Isle of Skye in the other. The home was very well maintained and offered us the flexibility of quiet outdoor space and an amazing floor plan inside. From the little goody basket Sue left us, to the use of 2 refrigerators and a washer/dyer, we had everything we needed for the week. The kitchen was the main dining area and we had plenty of seating. "A great place to stay, just far enough away from Sky to be away from the busy tourist stuff but close enough to spend the day on the island. If you like hiking there are amazing trails right next to the cabin along a river that has some waterfalls. There are a couple of villages that are close by with great food options, if you don't feel like cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The hostess are very easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions I had. Would defiantly recommend...

"We had the best week in Scotland and will definitely return. The location of the property is fabulous. The scenery and wildlife were amazing. The Pine Martens came every night for the jam butties and eggs we put out for them. We even saw a Golden Eagle flying overhead. Walk down the path towards the Castle and there are seals on the rocks. Paula could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Sorry we could only stay for a week ."

"We had a week here in September (10-17th) and loved every minute. We saw otters from the shore one day and did walks in every direction from the house. The weather treated us quite kindly and we managed to be outdoors for a good part of each day without getting (too!) wet. The house was so comfortable and well set up it was always a pleasure to return to. We slept so well too…all the fresh air and a super comfy bed. A great location for exploring Skye and the Glenelg area too."
