"We were visiting from Canada with family. Mate, your host, is most accommodating. The place is quite new and suited us perfectly. It is just North and only 9 minutes drive to entrance 1 of Plitvice Lakes National Park and therefore a great staging ground for a day trip there. The room is clean and spacious. The beds are very comfortable. While it is possible to enter the park at 7am and start hiking and have breakfast at one of the restaurants inside, we suggest a more leisurely breakfast with Mate and then head on to the park. He provided a perfectly good meal with lots of fruit, bread, eggs, sausages, ham, mushrooms, and vegetables. Coffee machine is available. Wish we could stay longer there. Thank you Mate. "We had a great 1 night stay here. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. We didn’t spend much time in the room, as we were visiting the lakes. The property is about a 15 minute drive from entrance 1 to the lakes, but don’t miss the opportunity to use entrance 3, a 5 minute drive from the property. We checked out and drove to this entrance at about 9am and got parked right outside. We had already bought our tickets online. If we were going to visit the lakes again, we’d definitely stay here."
