"The room and hotel itself were very clean and well maintained. For a double queen room there was a lot of space in the sleeping/living area and also in the bathroom, both were laid out well. There was a good breakfast provided along with a free evening dinner and a couple drinks. All in all one of the best hotel experiences I've had."

"The person at reception was not particularly welcoming and seemed slow (confused?) about our reservation, although everything was in order. Our room was clean, but the air conditioning would not maintain the temperature we had set. Breakfast was fairly good. We're returning to the hotel in the coming week, and we'll see if the shortcomings were just a fluke."

One of our favorite touches was the room key; it wasn’t just a standard hotel key card, but a fun keepsake that perfectly matched the hotel’s personality. It’s the little details like that that make this place so memorable. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the overall atmosphere made us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Iowa City!"

"Upon arrival the property looked very well maintained. Entering the building everything was clean and looked very new. Professionally checked in, and asked if we needed anything. Room was surprisingly large, and bed was better than we expected. Bathroom was well stocked, and loved the way the shower curtain was artfully placed. Rooms were very quiet overnight, Breakfast in the morning was very nice with Chocolate Waffles along with about everything else one would want for breakfast. We will definitely think about staying here again! Oh, and the price was very reasonable."
