Rapale Vacation Packages
Rapale is situated about 110 miles (177 kilometers) northwest of Rome, the country's capital, and approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) southeast of Florence.
It's a missed chance if you limit yourself to the points of interest in Rapale because the whole region is laced with numerous wonderful things to see and do. Take a trip to the Praetorian Palace and Buriano Bridge and Penna Natural Reserve in and around Civitella in Val di Chiana, some 7 miles (11 kilometers) to the west of Rapale.
Organize some transportation and head out to Gaiole in Chianti, a regional center, situated some 10 miles (16 kilometers) from Rapale. This bigger city offers plenty of attractions, including Church of San Sigismondo, Medieval Tower of Barbischio and Meleto Castle. Gaiole in Chianti Stadium and Castle of Brolio are also good places to spend a little time.
To understand the present, it often pays to return to the past. Tuscany's colorful historic bridges are a marvellous place to start. If the weather makes you want to head indoors, visit Tuscany's indoor markets, history museums and palaces.
When you hear the call of the wild, follow the lead of local thrill seekers and go caving or hiking. If you love to get wet, this is a great place for you. Water skiing is popular and another great activity is wind surfing.
When it's time to leave this special part of the world, say a fond Ciao (farewell) to the people you've got to know and the great places you've seen.
