Book this one now ! Stunning, beautiful, amazing. There are no words to describe this place. Staff were beyond helpful, the dining was incredible, the grounds and the monastery are so tranquil. We would have stayed for another week. If you drive to the bottom of the street you will also find a lovely pizza place family run that’s so nice. We will come back!

La struttura è bellissima e ricca di un fascino che trasporta indietro nel tempo. Si tratta però di un edificio antico e molto molto grande che necessiterebbe di investimenti ingenti. L'appartamento da me prenotato non era adatto ad una famiglia con bambini e il suo livello di manutenzione non era accettabile. Bellissimi gli ambienti comuni e buona la colazione. We had booked a 2 bedroom apartment. Was given a 3 bedroom with extremely short ceiling in the bedrooms. Only 1 bathroom that was about 5ftx5ft. The door to the bathroom was about 5 7ft so my husband could not get in without bending. Staff were rude and just horrible. Not accommodative at all.

The food is also very good, and the overall atmosphere is charming. However, the bed was terrible. The mattress was old, and the springs made it very uncomfortable, so I couldn’t sleep well. I’ve stayed in many different hotels and have never experienced such a bad bed. I understand that the concept and vibe of the place are meant to feel historic or classic, but for a property of this level, the bed should match the quality of the rest of the experience. Upgrading the mattresses would make a big difference.

tutto il soggiorno è stata un'esperienza indimenticabile! La Certosa è meravigliosa e passare anche solo una notte in un ambiente cosi ricco di storia e spiritualità è affascinante. Il ristorante è elegante con ottimo menù. La cella (perchè è veramente dove vivevano i monaci) nella quale abbiamo alloggiato è uno spazio riservato e silenzioso dove si riesce ad isolarsi davvero. La vista poi, al tramonto e all'alba, è appagante per lo spirito.
