"Brian was the star of the front desk, incredibly helpful. All the front desk were. Lovely setting on the river, lively in a quiet way - lots of nearby eateries & bars. Right in the heart of the old town. Everywhere was walkable, very helpful to know of the courtesy shuttle to the end of pedestrian area to get to the station... Nice infinity pool & rooftop area... We had a small room ... but the bathroom reminded me of a bathroom in a caravan. Lovely fluffy robes and towels but only two hooks. Comfy bed.... Food ok nothing to write home about. Trendy drapey curtains were a bit of a pain and my heart sank when I saw the glass wall of the bathroom... only gripes though.."

"During my three-plus weeks exploring Slovenia, I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Cubo three different times—both before and after my travels, beginning and ending my journey in the storybook capital of Ljubljana. The location is fantastic—centrally situated and within easy walking distance of the city’s main attractions, restaurants, and beautiful Old Town. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with beautiful décor and a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. What truly stands out, though, is the staff. The front desk team is exceptional—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. Hotel Cubo was the perfect home base for my time in Ljubljana and a wonderful way to begin and end my Slovenian adventure. A must-stay when visiting Ljubljana!"

"All about this hotel is great. The location is perfect. The building is beautiful, nicely renovated. The room was very comfortable. big bathroom and nice bedding. Breakfast, the best. All natural and home made. With the option of seating inside or out. The HIGH of the hotel were the people. They are extremely nice, always helping and going beyond to make you feel comfortable and provide what ever you need. I got there at 6 am and even it was to early to check in, they make all possible to prepare my room immediately and allow me in. You won't regret to stay at this hotel. I can't find one bad thing to say about it."

"What a hidden treasure! The room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. Only downside was having to carry heavy suitcases up the stairs, but that is a very minor issue. Check-in was smooth and effortless as details had been well communicated prior to us arriving. We had booked a parking space in advance and that was available for us immediately. All the staff were friendly, helpful and accommodating, even when we had a specific need. Breakfast was freshly made with plenty of choice. In addition, the restaurant below was absolutely superb! A special mention for the pizza rolls and the incredible hisna gibanica (cheese/pastry/apple/cinnamon/honey dessert) which sounds like a weird combination but was easily the most delicious thing I had eaten in our entire 3 week trip around the Balkans! Will definitely be recommending this place to friends!"
