"We very much enjoyed our stay on Bailey Island. We loved sitting on the deck with coffee in the mornings while watching boats pass back and forth. We ate at the local restaurants but also frequented Glen's Lobsters and cooked dinners in the cottage. Thank you Catsy and Tom for your kindness."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: fantastic as always. My only suggestion (seems this is the forum) is that the grass needs to be mowed more than once. In the numerous times I've rented for 2 weeks, its hard to get it done (its a discussion point every year, once it never got mowed in the 2 weeks, and was long when I arrived). Seems for $5000 it ought to be a twice occurrence, even if the whole property isnt done, but around the Little house. (Maybe even just weed whacked). It gets buggy and old people trip on the longer grass. Otherwise AWESOME STAY!"

Spacious Cottage Perfect for a Peaceful and Quiet stay on the Ocean with Beach

"This was our second year renting this cottage and we already have reserved it for 2 weeks next year. It has everything we needed for our stay, including everything needed to cook lobsters! (A lot cheaper to make your own than ordering at a restaurant). My favorite activity was sitting on the red chairs overlooking the ocean and reading a book. There were lots of other things to do that were more active, but I really liked relaxing while watching the lobster boats go by. I also loved the comfortable temperatures and listening to the ocean at night.My husband and I did venture off the island a few times to play golf and took a ride up to Rockland. We also enjoyed eating out at local restaurants, particularly the Dolphin and Cooks. Most of the time we ate breakfast in the cottage ( thank you, Eric, for the brand new coffee pot). We did go out to the Fishnet Cafe a couple of mornings ( great breakfast) and I would gladly have eaten a lemon scone from the Salt Cod Cafe right over the bridge every morning!Already missing the island and looking forward to next year’s stay."

Always cool with a ocean breeze. A well appointed house tastefully decorated surrounded by beautiful flowers. The view from the front porch of the harbor and the sunsets are the stuff of postcards. Our 2nd year in a row and we will be returning."

"Atlantic View is a wonderful house with a gorgeous ocean view. The kitchen was well-equipped for making family dinners. The three levels of living space allowed us both to gather and to have some privacy. And the wraparound porch with the Adirondack chairs is the perfect place to enjoy morning coffee or a cold beverage after a day exploring the island. One of the best VRBO rentals I’ve stayed at!"
