It is a 2.5kM walk into town and 1.2kM walk to bars and restaurants to the end of the lake. Both are on the nice biking/walking path. It is a perfect place to be away from the bustle of Queenstown. If you don’t have a car you can take the bus from the top of the hill; just a five minute walk. ##### Scott N. Us more the frankton end . Well fitted out but needs air conditioning - gets very hot and stuffy. Nice enough for a short stay. We have traveled for the past 3 months in New Zealand and Australia and stayed at 12 different properties so aware of the various areas and prices. In our opinion, this property was overpriced.
