We found our stay in Amazing Queenstown nothing short of excellence. We arrived late evening for check- in and was greeted by the owner Jez, who gave us a warmly welcome to the shared house and our private ensuite. Jez had also e-mailed us everything we needed to know in terms of house rules, wifi, security codes and amenities, before we arrived. He was happy to go through them in person as well. Our room was clean, and linens were fresh. We came with several bags of groceries which we were able to unpack in the shared fridge and allocated shelves. This accomodation was really convenient and just the perfect distance from Queenstown centre. It's about 15-20min stroll, or a 5min drive. Not a fuss at all! We were made to feel very welcome and there were so many little touches that made our stay even better than expected. We borrowed bikes to cycle into town which was great. Jez helped book our trip to Milford Sound which saved us time and hassle. When our flight was cancelled, we were fortunate enough to be able to stay an extra night which was dealt with very smoothly. His name is Jez; no detail escapes his attention. But please clean your dishes if you decide to cook! The kitchen is immaculate, like the rest of the house. Don’t even think of staying at a different homestay or hotel while in Queenstown. If space is available at Amazing Queenstown, grab it. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen! Der Blick auf den See ist Wahnsinn und man kann morgens schön auf dem Balkon in der Sonne frühstücken. Man braucht zu Fuß nur 20 min in die Stadt oder nimmt sich einfach eins der kostenfreien Fahrräder. Very clean and quiet place with a comfortable bed. Share bathroom with hot shower and clean towels. A super nice host who provides excellent hospitality and tips to make your stay in Queenstown more enjoyable with less cost. It takes 22 minutes walking along the lake to the city and you will be surrounded by an amazing view and breathing very fresh air. If you don't want to walk then you can catch a bus that runs every 15 minutes.I caught a bus from the airport to the place with a big luggage without any problem. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Queenstown. ##### Owen Stayed 7 nights in Nov 2018 Verified ### 8/10 Good #### O.N 16 Nov 2018 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort クイーンズタウン市街地まで車で5分です。歩けなくもないと思いますが、急勾配な坂が何回かあるので体力に自信がないと徒歩はおススメしません。 こちらのゲストハウスは3階建てで、一番上がキッチンや冷蔵庫などがあり宿泊者の共有スペース、その下の2フロアが宿泊者の部屋になります。ランドリー設備は真ん中のフロアにあり、洗剤さえ持っていけば料金はタダです。部屋はそんなに広くありませんが、テレビにはMac TVが備わっていたりと設備は良かったです。 こちらはカウンターデスクが基本的にないので、事前にオーナーさんから連絡がきます。到着したら入口に紙が置いてあるので、そこに書いてある番号を入力してロック解除し部屋に入ることができます。帰りも鍵を部屋に置いていくのみで良く、面倒な手続きなどはなにもありませんでした。 生後7カ月の息子を連れて行きましたが、ほかの宿泊者さんたちも笑顔で話しかけてくれて、子連れでも気持ちよく過ごすことができました。ただ、ベビーコットなどを置けるスペースが部屋にないので同じ布団で寝ることになります。良く動く子供には注意が必要ですが、部屋はとにかく清潔感たっぷりなのでおススメです。 ##### O.N Stayed 1 night in Nov 2018 Verified ### 10/10 Excellent #### KWAN TUNG 5 Nov 2018 Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities, room comfort #### Amazing The house very clean, comfortable and you can see the beautiful lake view.
