"We were hoping for a luxurious hotel for our time in Bangkok and this place exceeded all our expectations. It was our honeymoon and they gave us a free upgrade to a suite, decorated and they even gave us a heart shaped dessert on the house! The room was made up every day and on one day they even did it twice (we came back in the middle of the day for a few hours) - we didn't even ask for this, and is a first for us. Amazing views from your room with floor to ceiling windows but with the sound and light suitably blocked out with the curtains drawn. The facilities are top of the line, down to the corridors, reception and lifts, no corner seems to be cut. It's a shame the rooftop bar is closed for renovations at the moment, however they still have an outdoor bar on the 59th floor that is well worth a visit. Staff would always greet us with a smile and check if we needed any help getting cabs, at one point someone even stepped in when he saw us having an issue, and he spoke to our arriving driver in Thai on my phone as he had driven down the wrong street. Overall, it is probably the best hotel I've ever stayed in and I'm just sad our time there is over (for now!)"
