Vacation Home “Haus Kormoran 21” – Nordic living with a sauna and ocean view

Clean lines, carefully selected furniture, and a sweeping view of the water define the character of the "Haus Kormoran 21" vacation home. Built in 2021, this half of a vacation home offers approximately 60 m² of space for up to four people. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private garden make it a comfortable vacation home for families, couples, or friends. Dogs are also welcome upon prior registration.

Living in a blend of Nordic lightness and Baltic Sea charm

In the open-concept living and dining area, light colors meet stylish, Nordic-inspired decor. Carefully selected lamps, furniture, and artwork lend the rooms a unique yet pleasantly serene atmosphere.

The sofa offers a cozy spot for relaxing. A fireplace provides cozy warmth, especially on cooler days, while the flat-screen TV promises evening entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is also available during your stay.

Floor-to-ceiling windows allow plenty of natural light into the house. When the doors to the south-facing terrace are opened, the indoor and outdoor spaces blend together almost seamlessly, and the fresh Baltic Sea air becomes part of your vacation day.

Meals with a View

The dining table with four chairs serves as the focal point for shared meals, game nights, and planning your next island tour. Right next to it is the open, modern kitchen. It is equipped with high-quality appliances, a full set of dishes, and a dishwasher.

When the weather is nice, you can easily move the dining area outside: On your private terrace with patio furniture, you can have breakfast, enjoy the afternoon, or wind down the day with dinner while taking in the ocean view.

Two bedrooms with comfortable box-spring beds

The vacation home has two separate bedrooms. The first bedroom has a 180 × 200 cm box-spring double bed. The second bedroom is furnished with two single box-spring beds, each measuring 90 × 200 cm.

Both bedrooms feature a closet and their own flat-screen TV. The beds are already made upon your arrival. Towels are also provided, so you can start your vacation without having to unpack.

Two bathrooms and a Finnish sauna

Two bathrooms with showers and toilets ensure there’s plenty of space for morning and evening routines, even with four guests. The ground-floor bathroom also features a private Finnish sauna.

After a kayaking trip, a bike ride across the island, or a long walk along the water, the sauna offers a secluded place to warm up and relax.

The vacation home does not include a private washer or dryer. Coin-operated washers and dryers are available for shared use in the main house.

South-facing terrace and private garden

The private outdoor area complements the compact living space with a lovely spot surrounded by greenery. The south-facing terrace is furnished with patio furniture and is perfect for sunny breakfasts as well as quiet afternoons with a book.

The private garden provides additional open space and makes the house an attractive option for a vacation with children or a dog. The combination of the terrace, panoramic views, and proximity to the sea creates a pleasant coastal atmosphere from the very first day.

Natural Beach and Greifswald Bodden

The natural beach is about 600 meters away. You can walk there; a handcart is available for transporting beach gear. The Greifswald Bodden is also in the immediate vicinity.

Rügen’s tranquil south coast offers ideal conditions for relaxing walks, bike rides, and kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding excursions. After an eventful day, you’ll return to the tranquil atmosphere of the vacation village.

Vacation with Your Dog and Family

Children are welcome at “Haus Kormoran 21.” Thanks to the two bedrooms and bathrooms, families or adults traveling together can comfortably organize their daily routine.

Dogs are also allowed with prior registration. The natural surroundings and the various walking trails around Klein Stresow offer ideal conditions for spending your vacation together with your four-legged friend.

Arrival, Parking, and Charging Stations

A free parking space is reserved for the vacation home. A total of three shared charging stations for electric vehicles are available in the vacation village. Use of these stations is subject to a fee, which is calculated based on the length of your stay. Since no vehicle charging cable is provided, you must bring a compatible cable with you.

Access to the vacation village is via a natural, unpaved road, which should be driven on at walking speed only. Train travelers can arrange a transfer from the Putbus train station to the vacation village for a small fee.

On-site café and farm store

At Café Klein Stresow, which has an attached farm store, you can get fresh rolls for your vacation breakfast as well as hot and cold beverages. In addition, light meals, snacks, homemade cake, ice cream, and specialty coffees are offered. Selected regional products round out the selection.

At the turn of the year, the vacation village remains deliberately quiet: the resort celebrates a fireworks-free New Year’s Eve. This is especially pleasant for families with small children, guests with dogs, and anyone who would like to welcome the New Year without the noise of fireworks.
