  • Surfs up! Escape to this ALL BRAND NEW tiny home on Middle Bass Island. With 2 loft bedrooms including 2 queen beds and 1 sofa bed, guests will feel right at home. Enjoy the convenience of amenities like new mini-split, USB plugs in both lofts, WiFi, full kitchen, huge deck, and outdoor Bbq! It’s a short walking distance to St Hazards pool/bar. Or rent a golf cart and explore the island. Want to checkout Put-in-Bay? Take the Sonny S ferry for a quick 10 minute ride then come back and relax on Middle Bass and get the best of both worlds! Either way, it’s easy to see why you’ll be able to unwind at our place!

Very cute tiny home! The interior and exterior are very well built and maintained and had everything we needed for our stay. The Hazards shuttle was a huge help for us getting to and from the ferry, and everyone we interacted with from Hazards couldn’t have been kinder. Middle Bass is far more chill than Put-in-Bay, so it’s perfect for families with young ones who want to explore PIB without the more intense nightlife. Highly recommend as a getaway with a small family or small group of friends looking for an easy, laid back island experience

We took our honeymoon at Middle Bass Island in the Hazards. This was both our 1st time on the island. We learned alot about the history of the island, winery, wetlands & was able to go hiking on some of the trails they have here. Our hosts Michelle & Brian our amazing folks. They did amazing job on there Surf Shack. We didnt have NO issue at all. We needed an extra blanket & both of them came over with it. Michelle & Brian our very friendly, helpful warm & caring. I highly recommend the Surf Shack. U wont be disappointed.

The Surf Shack is a charming, clean, and well-appointed tiny house located in the Hazards. The Hazards shuttle conveniently picked us up at the docks and transported us directly to the house. Everything was spotless, and the space was the perfect size for two couples. We also rented a golf cart from Walleye's, which made it easy and enjoyable to explore the island. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we would gladly return.

Disliked: Location
The property itself was nice but run down cabins next to it are disappointing and they’re so close you can hear what everyone saying the one neighbors were really trashy, loud drunk, belligerent, and fighting till sun up but the new build itself is a nice little place. Just wish it was in a different area.
