"Very fun experience, we lived in the front side of airplane. Space is a little small, but fun experience. The front desk guy is super helpful and recommended some good food for us."

In hindsight I'd have loved to have stayed here longer great accommodation lovely space would happily have spent a week here. As it was I was just passing through the area so really didn't get to make the most of the facilities while I was in Turangi. Only negative was the WiFi which dropped out quite a lot.

Alexander Motel is not a 5* hotel but everything works as advertised. Room, kitchen and bathroom are all clean. Bed is comfortable. For a small kitchen it is well equipped including an air fryer! It is easy to find and situated <100 yards away from the main road. There is an rsa restaurant beside the hotel for good value straightforward food. On the Main Street there are many cafes for breakfast options

Very tastefully decorated and beautifully furnished accommodation with lovely views out over Lake Taupo. The suite had everything we needed and more. Lots of lovely little touches. Breakfast was excellent. Liz and Steve were very welcoming hosts and we would not hesitate to recommend Belle Vue. We shall certainly stay here again if we come back to Taupo.

We stayed in a comfort double. It was a good size with a very comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. The motel is away from the main road so nice and quiet. We really enjoyed our stay and would go back.

The house is amazing, elegant decoration and warm Lodge. They have a private hot spa and the environment follows Japanese spa style. All elements tell you you are on holiday and are free here. Anthony is a nice masterchief and every dish made by him is such delicious! I can tell the oyster they got is the best I have ever taken. Strongly recommended!

We had a lovely stay here, the unit was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Our only problem was the single bunk beds which were very noisy and squeaky and the springs were too soft- one of our group got their hair caught in the springs.
Otherwise the unit was great.

Room was very clean and staff were helpful (we had some items missing from our room but this was quickly rectified). WiFi was a bit unstable. Breakfast was a help-yourself selection of cereals, toast and yogurt which was fine. Location is lovely, and the rooms and beds were comfortable. A nice place to stay.

The Hobbit unit was a comfortable, homely unit with heated blankets, separate bedroom for the children, hot showers, dining and cooking areas. We also had views of some of the other unique units.
The lady running the park could not have been more helpful and nice. She let our children feed a lamb and a possum. We were given ideas of what to do around the area to make the most of our stay.
We had a 5 week trip around New Zealand and this was our favourite place to stay.

The cabins are really nice...large and spacious and comfy and clean and well stocked. The owner is really friendly. The place is a bit difficult to find I have to say!
