Our stay was fantastic. We had read other reviews and were a little nervous but we are really glad we chose to book anyway. The food was great, our room was spacious and the bed was extra comfortable. Staff were helpful and nice. The beach…the beach was amazing! We had arrived right after a storm but it was cleaned up by the next day. After spending 7 days there with my family of 4, I would say that those negative reviews were from people that perhaps have very high maintenance issues. We would definitely go back.

The royalton is a beautiful property with plenty of restaurants and bars. It was hard to reserve dining at some of the restaurants, but the buffet was always available.

My butler Manuel was great. Traveled with a large group of people & the staff was very accommodating with dinner reservations for the 20+ people. Pools & beach was great. Hotel entertainment staff was wonderful. We participated in aqua aerobics, karaoke, salsa lessons, yoga, foam party & white party.
House keeping was great. Cleaned room daily.

If this were a Fairfield Inn, I would give it 2 stars. Everything was old, broken and the apologies flowed from everyone. Many would ask what they could do to help but no one helped. It was true comedy except one of the staff physically threatened my husband and when we saw him, he would mumble he ind his back. We felt unsafe. The fire hose on our floor was gone. The nicest and most helpful were the bellboys and the cleaning crew. Also the restaurant workers were kind. Otherwise, it was a nightmare.

Our concierge Jeifrey was amazing. Super nice and attentive to our needs. All of the staff at the bars and restaurants were amazing people. Super welcoming and friendly. Food was top notch. I have eaten at many japanese restaurants and by far yours is the tastiest.

The staff, in general, was very friendly. The servers were not very attentive. There were times when we almost finished out first plate before someone came to take our drink order. I don't know if it was the language barrier, but i had 2 issues in my room, that I reported to multiple people, and they were never resolved. Oh, I also go a case of food poisoning.

Great property, awesome location. Food was great and staff was amazing. Guest services do a great job. Front desk and F&B are very attentive I have to say I would definitely come back.

The grounds are perfectly kept. Lounging area is large and seats are comfortable. Can easily find a quiet or covered area.

The service Manager Stephanie was amazing with trying to accommodate our group of 17 people. The people within the bars and the chefs at the buffets were amazing as well will recommend to friends and family.

I've stayed in various Resort here in Punta Cana, but the Royalton is currently in my top 3 favorite Resorts. From the staff, the food, the facility everything has been outstanding. Such a peaceful and beautiful place, me and my husband were delighted with everything and everyone. Jeifry vargas and everyone else's offered us an incredible experience. I hope to be back soon, with the rest of my family.
