A beautiful condo in one of the newest buildings closest to the beach- only a block from it. You'll love it because of the views, the terrace, the private roof-top amenities, including pool, jacuzzi, outdoor shower, workout room, large gathering lounge area, with executive style table and kitchen with built in Wolf Grill. Add to it, the convenience to everything. It's location is known for the restaurants and nightlife. On Saturdays, during season, there's a wonderful outdoor market for the freshest fruits and veggies right across in the square. No vehicle is required during your stay, as public transportation is right at your door for whenever you'd want. This condo has a wonderful terrace that wraps around the building, designed as such, so that one can step out of any room and enjoy the fantastic views. As a matter of fact, there are no windows! Sliding glass walls that, when open, create a fabulous open air, larger feeling to the entire living space. It's like living outside. We've had it decorated with lively bright happy colors, so indicative of the old Mexican culture, but with a contemporary flair to it creating a flow intermingling the two. The condo is set up for 2-4 persons sleeping capacity. A queen bed in the bedroom, with a fold out double in the living room. This is private building. Guests are met for the initial checkin/checkout. Our management staff will meet and greet you upon arrival. I will be away but my property managers will take good care of you. If you will want additional maid service it can be added for a small fee. Additionally, there is on-site management and security for the building itself. We can set up an airport transfer, if you wish, as well as, a market stop off on your way in. Even different activities and/or adventures can be set up prior to your arrival by simply letting us know. You won't really need a car here. If you do find yourself wishing for something, that is farther than you want to walk to, there are taxis, and Uber, that can be hailed with a second's notice down at street. If you want to truly feel the culture, there is a bus stop within a block where you can get to just about anything with a bus ride costing just pennies. In order to keep our prices low, and stay environmentally aware, we include an electrical consumption of 20 kwh/day-which should cover guests' needs. In case, for any reason, you use extra kwh's, these can be paid at check out. We also offer promotional rates for stays of 30 nights or longer. These rates do not include electric. Guests will be responsible to pay for their consumption at check out. Consumption is monitored by recording meter at check in and check out. Yes, it's a busy/noisy corner with 3 good restaurants below and while the noise may bother some, we enjoyed the music and people watching. We had no issues sleeping once the patio doors were closed. The location is perfect for walking around the Malecon area and sightseeing. The condo is exactly as advertised and perfect for 2 people. The environment was not quiet around the condo but my husband and I were still able to relax and definitely enjoy ourselves. Most mornings we sat out on the patio and enjoyed a coffee. The roof top pool did not disappoint, there were some spectacular sunsets and fireworks from there. We spent 12 days and did a lot of walking and sightseeing from Yelapa to Sayluita and used the local transit to get around. We would definitely recommend going to The Pancake House for breakfast it is amazing and grabbing a Margarita from The Margarita Grill! We found the kitchen adequately supplied, but did purchase a few things that we found lacking. But they were left there for the next guests. Heidi was very easy to deal with and Keith/Roger (property managers) were always available by phone but never needed. Staff at the building are wonderful. The pool and facilities are extremely well cared for. View from the pool is stunning. We enjoyed our breakfast on the deck enjoying the street life/school and ocean view. Margarita Grill across the way played 70's music which we enjoyed and as soon as we closed the doors up at night we didn't hear a sound. Lovely condo, great vacation! ##### Darlene T. We stayed for ten days and really enjoyed the convenience of being right on Basillo Street. Restaurants, pubs, convenience stores and the beach are all right there. A mere 1 block walk and you’re having breakfast with your feet in the sand or enjoying your favorite cocktail at one of the dozens of bars or restaurants in the area. The rooftop pool area was our go to spot everyday after hanging at the beach. Heidi is a great host, providing us valuable info and suggestions for places to dine, transportation options and shopping options. She was quick to respond to any questions that we had. Some have mentioned the noise from the street and local pubs. If that is a concern, perhaps Old Town is not the place for you. But if you like the vibe of Old Town and want to have it right outside your door, this is a great spot. ##### Jeff J. This condo is well appointed, with the balcony being it's best feature. It's on the 3rd floor, on the busiest street, so street noise is to be expected. We enjoy the vibe of this and the noise ends by 11 or shortly after so sleeping is great. Unfortunately for ALL the rentals in this section of Old Town, is the construction going on in a huge complex. It's very wearing to hear the jackhammers all day long so we kept our balcony time to early mornings, their breaks and evenings. With the patio doors closed, the sound was fine. The pool in this building is gorgeous with fabulous views. Again, the jackhammers....but it was facinating to watch them working on top of the building. We will definitely rent here again because the location, amenities, owner and managers are all great. ##### Donna P. Very clean and well equipped with linens, towels, kitchen items, small and major appliances etc. Location was terrific for walking, but no ocean view from unit. Pool area was great. The big negative for us was the noise. Unit is a corner unit. On diagonal corner is Marguerita Grill, which plays deafening, live music until 1 AM every night. Even with balcony doors closed and air on it did not help. On the other corner across the way, new construction was going on for a restaurant opening. So, it was hardly a peaceful vacation. Staff and management in building were very nice, but I personally would not want to stay again because of the noise factor, but understand some people would love it. ##### Marie B. Stayed 7 nights in Jan 2019 ### 10/10 Excellent #### Joan K., Kirkland, WA. 13 Mar 2019 #### For our price range this is the best place we’ve ever stayed! Bill and I are ages 78 and 67 respectively. We stayed in this Condo last week, 2/28- 3/8/19\. We loved the condo and the location! Everything was clean and all paper products were provided. The toaster is very efficient and the hairdryer is of professional quality. Both Heidi and the building managers were a joy to work with! Everyone was helpful and responsive. The noise, which was considered a negative by other guests, was not a problem for us. We experienced endless enjoyment from the large corner balcony and I found myself telling people that we had front row seats for people watching and the evening fireworks show. There were Mariachi Bands, Indigenous Dancers, and an endless array of other performances. A fellow named Rambo is known throughout the neighborhood. He was especially entertaining with his combination dance and traffic control in the intersection. He was quite effective with his traffic directing! There is Fabulous food within steps of the unit. Our favorite was Da Simone for Italian, right around the corner. We loved it so much that we went back on our last night. There is Outstanding music, Blues and Swing, right up the street at Nacho Daddy! We went there twice, as well. Of note, however, is the fact that the entire city is struggling with its infrastructure against all the recent development. Nothing was said by either Heidi or the manager, but I quickly noticed signs in the restrooms of bars and restaurants cautioning against flushing paper unless necessary. Since our return, there has actually been a rather unfortunate sewage spill near an estuary in the area. That being said, there is absolutely no plumbing issue in this building. Another point is that the rooftop pool is saline and the tile is light green, so don’t be alarmed that it’s not blue in color like those in other buildings nearby. It’s marvelous! All in all, we had the time of our lives and would rent this unit again without hesitation, Joan and Bill Knutsen, Kirkland, WA ##### Joan K. I really enjoyed my stay here. The location was perfect for me as I spent days at the beach and nights out on the town. I read other reviews about the street noise but it never bothered me. We appreciated Host Heidi’s contact with us prior to our stay in PV. We also appreciated the timely responses from the managers Roger and Pepi. . Any questions or problems were addressed in a courteous and timely way. We also appreciated having a weekly maid cleaning service. It took a bit of time to adjust to the loud street music until 1:30 am. We got used to it in time. The appliances and furniture were good. The dishwasher did a poor job of cleaning and was temperamental. We did, however love the rooftop saline pool. It was a great place to watch the whales showing off in Banderas bay. We loved being in old town and the close proximity to the park and Saturday’s open market. And great restaurants.—all within easy walking distance. We would stay there again. ##### Jane R. Communication was a mess from the start. Management wasn’t sure who would meet us day one, one of 3 persons. Upon arrival, the unit was hot and smelled of cigarette smoke. Listed as non smoking, but there is an ashtray on the patio for guests to use. After management left, the issues with this unit became apparent. Soiled bedding, the pillows and mattress topper were heavily stained with urine and other bodily fluids. dirty walls, thick dust on the headboard and behind the bed, clogged shower drain, dirty dishes, dirty cutlery, dirty drapery, dirty throw cushions with food and pet hair, problems with the washing machine, hot water in the kitchen, AC unit in the bedroom didn’t work due to a tripped breaker, the dishwasher did not work and was never fixed. I spoke with the owner directly, who offered to have a bedspread shipped to replace the soiled one. She indicated that management had sent the one currently on the bed out it to have the stain boiled out of it, but that it did not remove the stain. We washed the bedspread and miraculously the stain was gone, leaving us to believe it was never cleaned. There was never an offer to have housecleaning come back in to clean. The maid came after the second week but many things were still left unclean. The bedding she placed on the bed this time, had blood stains on them. Other issues to be aware of are, Management entering the suite without notice, and being very slow to reply or acknowledge emails. You could wait up to a week. We have stayed in this building before, and have stayed at numerous properties in the Romantic Zone for over a decade with no issues. This is the only time I have felt it necessary to warn others. ##### Michael and Michelle H.
