Please notice that this is a brand new property (and it is the reason why we don't have so many reviews yet) BUT we have our Casa Azul Profundo profile available to check our background as owners with more than 50 positive reviews over the past 10 years. \-The unit:- This attractive apartment belongs to a luxurious condominium complex called "Los Palmares" located on the south shore of Puerto Vallarta, just at 6 km from the center of this famed Mexican town, and above the beautiful white sand beach of Playa Blanca where you can enjoy romantic walks or dip into the crystal-clear warm ocean water of the bay. You can enjoy your stay at a this 3 bedroom, 4 bathrooms condo with 2,200 square foot of luxury living fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, blender etc) with modern appliances, plasma TV's, WiFi, laundry (washer-dryer), concierge and optional services including a housekeeper, chef, nanny and masseuses. The Los Palmares condominium development offers all the amenities you can imagine, a gym, guest laundry services at the pool level, outdoor common BBQ area to use as well as a large palapa-covered common area, WIFI in all the common areas, luggage dropoff for early or late arrivals and departures, and free parking on the premises. It has easy access to the large infinity pool, the spa and the children’s shallow pool since it is on the 2nd floor. Just a few steps below the pool you can enter to the beach and blue Pacific waters of the Bahia de Banderas. The walk-in is gradual and a great place for wading, swimming, and surfing. In the mornings and evenings, the pelicans circle and fish for hours along with those guests who want to try their luck. And then there’s that amazing sunset to enjoy from your front row seat of one of your private decks. In addition to all of this, there is a restaurant and the use is limited to only owners and their guests. It is open 7:30 am to 3:30 pm daily serving very nice complete breakfasts, diverse lunches and cocktails and other beverages. It is open-air and located just above the pool in a lovely Mexican palapa. Bedding: 2 master bedrooms with king size bed and private patio 1 bedroom with 2 double beds, ample closet and drawer storage Each bedroom is large and there is plenty of floor space and an open-feeling. Each of the 3 bedrooms has its own insuite full bathroom. Linens and towels are provided. A laundry/utility room is also included in the wonderful design of this condo. The main living area is open and airy. The terrace is the perfect place for sunbathing, dining and watching the incredible views of the beach. Old town (without traffic) is only about 10 minutes away. Easy to get an uber or cab. One night we even arranged for chefs to come in and cook steak and lobster which we ate on the balcony. Bedrooms were spacious and private. The in-building staff made the place feel like a hotel in terms of desk people answering questions and the cleaner being kind and thorough. The property managers were also very helpful and reasonably prompt when responding to any questions we had. The pool was great-right at the beach, lots of lounge chairs, enough shallow water for the kids to play. We were able to get into town by taking the nearby bus. It was a 25 minute ride. A taxi stand is nearby as well. One thing to know, there aren't a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We cooked many of our meals so that wasn't too bad for us. It has a beautiful Mexican charm. The views are spectacular and is never crowded. We did snorkeling in the beach which was great. Is only a 10 minute drive to the romantic zone where is full of restaurants and everything else you need (you can also safely bus or ubber there). The property manager was great and attended all our needs to. My only and very little complain is that the thermostat in our unit didn't seem to work great, so the AC was either on (and very cold) or off. The doors didn't have any screens so having the windows open was not an option b/c some little bugs would get in. However, this was very minor and I definitely plan to be back there soon!. Well furnished, located top 5 beaches of Puerto vallarta The condo was nicely furnished, clean and well stocked for a party of 6\. Cooking was no issue. Never did make it to the restraunt on site. Was there with my wife, 2year old daughter, mother/father in law, grandma/grandpa in law. The beach in my opinion, top 5 beach of Puerto vallarta. Light white powdery sand. The water was clear enough to see your toes and small fish swimming. The water was also very calm to light swim/dipping because of rock formation that create a pool like swim area where wave dont come crashing in. Getting into to the ocean to take a dip was easy, no rocks under your feet, no strong waves. Condo staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our family had a memorable stay and would consider staying again in the future for a party of 6\. Everything was as stated. No complaints here. A recommendation tho, Provide the following for guest: -Showering soap -shampoo -paper towels Stayed In more than a few "vrbo" always nice to see those recommendations provided by host. Detailed review as follows: Pros: - Oceanfront location - Nice pool - Stylishly and comfortably furnished unit - Safe parking - Gym access available (and no one else seemed to use it, nice to not have to share during Covid times) Cons: - When we arrived, the Wifi internet was not working in the unit. It took until the next day to be repaired (not a great experience for those who do not have cell plans including Mexico) - No drinking water available upon arrival (we had to ask for a can of water to be delivered) - Many things in the unit in need of repair-- one toilet not flushing, sink in one bathroom leaking, range hood not functional, etc. Not deal-breakers, but upon arrival we felt we needed to go around and try everything so that we could report the multiple problems to the property manager. To their credit, they fixed the big ones (water and internet) within 24 hrs. - The listing states there is an on-site restaurant. During our stay it was closed due to lack of staff. This is less than ideal because the hotel is around a 10-15 min drive from PV where you can access other restaurants. - They did not provide soap or shampoo for guest use. Again, a small thing, but it would make the place seem homier to have these. In summary, don't arrive here hungry, thirsty, or dirty. Come prepared and you will enjoy. Or, better yet, book another place so you don't have to worry about these details on your vacation. ##### Harish G. Recently stayed at this amazing condo. It is very spacious. each bedroom is very large with its own on-suite. The kitchen is large and has all the necessities. My daughter used the gym everyday. The beach is beautiful with water that is so clear you can see all the little fishes swimming around. The restaurant is very good and economical. It is not that far from downtown, I liked the fact that there were not many vendors on the beach trying to sell you goods. ##### Amanda P. Easy check in/out. Clean! But we could not get an even distribution of the A/C. This really is on the nicest beach - great ocean swimming! We loved falling asleep to the sound of waves and waking to the view of the ocean. We saw several whales from our own balcony! The unit was comfortable and well appointed. The pool is beautiful and kept very warm. We did find the building managers and other residents a little unwelcoming towards our children (we didn't see any other kids while we were there) but the unit's owners were very friendly and accommodating. ##### Christy S.
