The courtyard area was strewn with some trash and tools when I first arrived. I was assigned one room, asked for another with a balcony but then noticed the plumbing in that room was completely faulty. I moved to another room that had significant electrical problems and inconsistent WiFi signal. The entire place is just rundown and in need of updating. The young employee was kind and friendly but seemed overwhelmed with the property problems.

life is good in casa blanca.....

everything that you need is right there beautiful private beach in the back of the hotel you can have breafast right in the hotel for a very price you can not ask for anything better for the price taxi shuttle to the airport if you need it great place.

If you want cheap this is it.

It worked for us since we were just wanted a place to drop our luggage while we searched for what we were looking for. A relaxing hotel on the beach. Had to locate the manager to check in, I was given the direction of his room and when I knocked no answer. I was told by the cleaning lady to go in and I find the manager laying on his sofa, didn't get up just wanted to know what I wanted. I wasn't expecting a four hotel, but I do expect professionalism.

Avoid if possible

The hotel arranged for a car to pick me up from the airport. The driver was there on time and easy to find, which was very helpful. When I arrived, it was difficult to find the staff working there. I don't think that my room was cleaned before I arrived. There was trash, including an empty box of condoms, still in the room from the previous occupant. The hotel didn't provide any towels, soap, or any basics like that. There is no air conditioning and the ceiling fan in my unit was too squeaky to sleep with it on. I also found it very loud. It was easy to hear other guests and there were some that were very loud. The location is very good. A short walk to Cabarate beach and near the supermarket. I would stay somewhere else though.

Hotel Casa Blanca ...eine Katastrophe....

Casa Blanca Hotel... das schlechteste was ich seit Jahren erlebt habe. Nie und nimmer 3 Sterne wert! Bei der Ankunft: es gibt keine Rezeption.der Besitzer muss in seinem Privat-Appartement gesucht werden. Das Zimmer zur Strasse, sehr laut, sehr warm, keine Klima-Anlage. Ventilator defekt. Lavabo und Dusche im Zimmer, kein Spiegel über Lavabo. benutztes Stück Seife. Fliesen-Boden z.T. defekt. Türe zum separaten WC wurmstichig. das Holzmehl rieselt schon heraus. der Türpfosten unten abgefault. die Eingangshalle des Hotels sieht aus wie ein Lager-Schuppen mit 2 Motorrollern abgestellt und verschiedenem Unrat abgestellt. Nach einer Nacht Wechsel des Zimmers in ein kleines Studio. In beiden Zimmern kein TV. Baulich ist dies etwas besser, aber voll mit Moskitos. konnte die halbe Nacht nicht schlafen, erst nach 1 Schlaftablette möglich. Das Cafe, das separat zum Hotel am Eingang gelegen ist, ist gut, aber eher teuer. Pool mit Verschmutzung auf der Wasseroberfläche. Nicht einladend. Der Hammer: konnte mein Gepäck bis zur Abreise in abschliessbarer Kammer deponieren. Mit dem Hotelbesitzer ("William") wurde bzgl Abholen 18 Uhr vereinbart. Um 18 Uhr war keiner da, auch William nicht anwesend. musste nach 1 Std. Wartezeit den Hotelbesitzer anrufen. Als ich mich beklagte, wurde ich von ihm beschimpft und mit "go away" hinauskomplimentiert....= ausserordentliche Gastfreundschaft.

This is a very cool and convenient place to stay. Affordable, location is perfect, and the cafe on sight is a plus. Only issue is no air conditioner. But aside from that it makes staying in Cabarete fun and easy.

Better than expected, the best value so far in DR. I am actually back for another 2 days now. I booked the least expensive room, and they had a vacancy in better room which they upgraded me for free just to be nice. Here is the deal, cute pool beautiful landscaping and a gorgeous beach in your backyard. Is it luxurious no, if you want that go pay 10 times as much and stay in a fancy resort. The staff is super friendly, including the maid who was on her way home when she heard my fan was broke so she turned around and got me another one before she left. Nice little breakfast cafe with good food also. Very happy here and when I teturn to Caberete I will stay here again as I feel as safe as home.

Small, cheap, clean hotel with nice pool amenity.

Hotel is close to beach access and a full-service supermarket with money exchange features. At $22/night I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the hotel.

I dont know why there was sheets on ceiling.. And there was rats on the roof, terrible noises at the evening and night. Nice pool and very good location (supermarket, laundry service and beach/restaurantes/bars).

Nice accomadations at the quiet end of town

The owners William and Dorothy ... Canadian expats ... are warm friendly and very accomadating. The Casa Blanca is just 2 minutes from a beautiful beach that stretches on for miles in both directions. Walking to the heart of Cabarette takes no more than 10 minutes max and the towns largest super market is practically next door. I stayed in a small single room ... It might not be right for everyone but it was fine for me.

Casa Blanca ligger bara några minuters promenad från stranden och centrala Cabarete. Det är prisvärt och känns säkert. Negativa var att madrasserna var hårda och om du får ett rum som vetter mot vägen (som vi gjorde), är det högljutt från bilar/motorcyklar på natten även när fönstren är stängda. Men allt som allt var vi nöjda med vår vistelse och skulle definitivt bo där igen.
