Honest review. This review is based on my own experience and in what I like. Hotel is very organized and clean everywhere, the staff is well trained and super kind with guests. Easy parking. Is not overcrowded. Looks like the perfect hotel. Only bad things are, little or no entertainment, only one restaurant open during lunch and breakfast with not a lot of options. Desserts are awful, no ice cream anywhere, oh and the all inclusive drink is just a weird probably housemade alcohol, if you want name brand (even cheap ones) you have to either purchase a vip pass but this drinks are only available in ONE bar all the other ones don’t have these drinks which then is a little useless and inconvenient for the customer. Another option would be to buy the bottle which is like 2x the price of outside. All in all I have been to various all inclusive and I would recommend going somewhere else if you have the money to pay for this one you’ll have enough to pay for another one with better experience, entertainment and availability of food and deserts.

Resort needs some repairs to be 4*+ Good reception especially with Juan. Also toilets need to be more functional allowing use of toilet paper to be flushed putting it in waste basket isn’t sanitary. Mattress on pull out couch needs to be changed, also linen for the couch should be available in room. Shower isn’t functional to high and therefor sprays out of shower area. Chairs on balcony could be more comfortable.

There was a leak in the bathroom that my wife almost wiped out twice from. The maintenance man came and looked at it a said would fix the next day, take about 3 hrs. Did not happen. So we had to use towels everyday to soak up the water. Other than that, it was a fairly good trip.

Excellent The Platino is our Choice for accommodations in Santiago. It's situated within walking distance to Pricesmart and a quick drive to the Agora Mall and a variety of restaurant. Very convenient. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. All for an incredibly low price.

We enjoyed our time but wish there had been more variety on the buffet day to day. The evening entertainment shows were great. Room was comfortable. Housekeeping came in unannounced every morning to take our towels. Would have preferred that they left them until they cleaned later in the day

Property was clean and lovely. I experienced lots of confusion with the consumable card. I was promised on, but not given one. I ended up having to spend more money than what I anticipated as the food on site is very expensive.
