This was a delightful place to stay and we are extremely pleased we chose it for our 2 weeks in Puerto Ayora. Elvira and Juan Carlos were the best hosts one could ever ask for. I Can think of nothing to critisise the Inn or staff about. It was so quiet, comfortable and hassle-free staying there. We had some lovely chats with both our hosts during our stay. If we ever return to the island we will automatically be staying with them again.

Family of four spent 3 nights 4 days and were very comfortable. Very convenient and clean from white towels and linens, to the most friendliest staff you will ever get at a hotel. The breakfasts set us up for the day, kids were happy! Air conditioner worked great. The owner had thought of everything—- hair dryer, clothes zip line to hang wet bathing suits, beach towels ( you will need to ask the staff for them). We highly recommend booking your stay here!

My second time of staying at Maidith Inn. It is a uniquely beautiful hotel, Juan is an excellent, welcoming host, nothing too much trouble for him, explaining the area, places of interest. I would highly recomend this hotel.

I recently had the pleasure to spend three nights at the Maidith Galapagos Inn. The property is beautifully decorated and has a nice little pool. The location was very convenient and was a short walk to restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal and the Charles Darwin Center. Our room was clean and well appointed: filled with the thoughtful touches that make traveling life much easier (power outlets built in to the bedside lamps, clothesline in the shower, etc…). Juan Carlos, the manager, was amazing! He gave us many useful tips on how to navigate the island, great restaurant recommendations and helpful advice on which activities to do. Also, he went above and beyond to try to help us locate a non locally available cream for my son’s eczema. He is truly a gem and goes out of his way to make you feel at home. In short, this is a great property to stay on if you are spending time in Santa Cruz!

Maidith is such a wonderful hotel. It is very cute and clean. The owner Juan Carlos was a wealth of knowledge and so accommodating and always available to help out and recommends restaurants or excursions. Lourdes and Shisela were wonderful. They always made such a delicious breakfast and were so sweet. I definitely recommend Maidith as a place to stay. Best, Renee V

We had a great stay at the Maidith for 4 nights in March. The hotel is an interesting piece of architecture that according to the owner's son is inspired by Gaudi, Santorini and the whimsy of his mother. It is well maintained and well located in a quieter section of Puerto Ayora , just a block or two from Darwin Ave. Juan Carlos couldn't have been more delightful and helpful. He had great diinner recommendations, information on the area and even medication for stomach troubles. Great breakfast. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

We loved the "boutique" look and feel of Maidith Galapagos Inn. Juan Carlos was so helpful and hospitable offering advice and recommendations, making taxi reservations, etc. The room and premises were clean and well maintained. Everything we wanted to do was within a 20 minute walk. We walked to the beaches at the Charles Darwin Research Center, to the pier where you catch the water taxi to Tortuga Bay Beach, the fish market, and many shops and restaurants. I would certainly come back!

Wow! like most of you out there we selected this hotel based on rating and reviews. Boy are we glad we did. This quaint hotel is the perfect mix of luxury and charm. It is located on a quiet street that is less than 5 minute walk to everything you could want. All of the staff, especially Juan Carlos the owner/manager, went far above and beyond to make us feel special. Breakfast each morning was prepared for us and every meal was better than the last. In short, you won't regret choosing the Maidith Galapagos Inn.

Juan, the owner of Maidith Galapagos Inn was a superb host and so too were the wonderful staff. I'd travelled for nearly 48 hour from UK to Puerto Ayora solo and was extremely tired. Juan and the staff gave me such a warm and friendly welcome when I arrived at their beautiful, quirky, unique hotel making me feel at home going over and beyond. Breakfast was fabulous home prepared. Thank you Juan and staff for a memorable stay 😃

Unbelievably great experience. Juan Carlos is excellent at running the place and taking care of your needs, taxis, restaurants, tours etc. The place was spotless, patterned after Gaudi, to me this is a hotel. WiFi is great, breakfast great, he has refreshments to purchase, free water for filling water bottles, clean hot tub, lighting in courtyard nice. Great quiet locations 5 minute walk from town

This small little hotel is a beauty. The rooms are perfect. The oasis in the middle where you can cool off in a little pool or eat you breakfast in the morning just makes you happy. We had a very nice two night stay on arrival to Galapagos before heading to Isabel. Comfortable, great breakfast, and great location with the cutest restaurants and conveniences nearby, but not on a main street.

Absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel! The owner's presence truly made our stay exceptional. Maidith Galapagos Inn is a unique and spectacularly kept island retreat. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the gorgeous stained glass, carved wooden details, and colorful mosaics of the inn's design. We appreciated the variety of bountiful breakfasts, and especially enjoyed the pineapple jam. The pool was perfect after a day of siteseeing and snorkeling. Elvira and Juan Carlos took excellent care in communicating and helping us plan things that our group would enjoy. They set up drivers, walked us to specific tour guide sites, and always wanted our feedback in order to help others. This place is a gem in Santa Cruz in every way!

My stay at Maidith was absolutely amazing. We were treated as family. From the owners to the staff, they went above and beyond to make sure me and my family had a great time. They are ready to assist you with anything you need. Breakfast was so delicious and it was different everyday. Elvira (one of the owner) made a reservation for us at the most beautiful place for the last day. You are going to have a excellent time at this hotel. It’s completely worth it.!!!! The owners Juan Carlos and Elvira are the most friendly and helpful persons I have ever met. They assisted us with all our logistics for a group of 16 people without a single flaw. Including 3 amazing birthday cakes an restaurant reservations to all the best restaurants with perfect tables and personal touches. The owners are the most wonderful people in the world. The took care of us from start to finish without a flaw. Always made sure we had everything we needed including transportation to and from the port and the airport. The rooms are huge, beautiful and impeccably cleaned. The Location is perfect. Close to everything but still in a quiet street. I would recommend this hotel to everyone that wants to come with their family to the Galapagos. 5 Stars with 5 star service.

I do not think I can say enough positive things about our stay at the Maidith Galapagos Inn. When we arrived Juan Carlos and his friendly staff warmly greeted us. The hotel is impeccably kept, and the rooms are extremely comfortable. We felt so welcomed and they made sure all our needs for our stay were met. The hotel is close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone. The Maidith Galapagos Inn is a true example of excellent hospitality. Excellent location, close to centre of Puerto Ayora with its restaurants, shops and docks, minutes from The Charles Darwin Research Centre, charming property, very clean rooms, comfortable beds, pool, hammocks, good breakfast, excellent service! Feel at home..
After my very stressful ordeal from Quito airport, all I want is to get straight to the hotel and just relax. When I arrived in Galapagos, I was greeted with very warm welcome by the owners Juan Carlos and Elvira. They took me to my room and they make sure that I am comfortable. When I settled in, I went back to see them and I asked about the tours. Due to circumstances, I cannot swim so I can only do a land tour. They suggested about Seymour Island and I am glad I did it. They also suggested good restaurants and they also gave me a coupon for discount! lol. They make you feel at home and always asking how's my day going and they make sure that I am ok and enjoying my stay in Galapagos. Thank goodness that I chose to stay here because I was able to relax and enjoying one of their hammock just outside my room or just dipping in their mini-pool which is very soothing. I can't thank them enough and I wish I could stay longer. I am definitely coming back here and will make sure to stay longer (maybe a week?). Also the Inn is very walkable to the town and very safe.

Wonderful hotel! The rooms and common areas are very comfortable & beautifully decorated, the location is very quiet but convenient to everything, the included breakfasts are delicious and varied and the owners are exceptionally nice, helpful and fluent in English. They even kindly bought & left a dessert for us in our fridge, that we had told them we were trying to find in town. Highly recommend!

Die Atmosphäre war familiär, so dass sich unser Kind und wir, uns hier pudelwohl fühlten. Das Hotel hat eine ruhige Lage und trotzdem ist man schnell im Geschehen drin.

子連れの個人旅行で、最初に2泊、間を空けて(スーツケースを置かせてもらい)、その後2泊の計4泊しました。 (宿泊した部屋はpelicano) 清潔感があり、明るく、居心地の良い宿でした。設備だけでなく、宿全体のデザインや、ウミガメをコンセプトにした室内の装飾など、見た目もとても素敵でした。 シャワーは暖かいお湯が勢いよく出て、備え付けのタオルも清潔でした。朝食はパン、ヨーグルト、卵料理、フルーツ、コーヒーで、量も味も満足できました。朝食の時間より早い時間のツアーに参加する日は、前日にランチボックスも用意してくれたので、ありがたかったです。 オーナーのJuan Carlosさんは大変親切でした。ガラパゴスについての情報があまりなく、交通手段やクレジットカードの使用など、現地の情報を宿泊前から問い合わせをしたのですが、大変丁寧に教えてくれました。子どももこちらの宿を大変気に入り、とても楽しい旅行になりました。 フェリーに乗るための港までも歩いて行け、美味しいレストランやお土産屋さんなどがある通りにもアクセスが良く、治安も良いので、移動面での不自由もありませんでした。
